February may be the shortest month of the year but is packed with special events here in Prague! Use our events calendar to guide you to the best things to do this month: taste a delicious meal from locals at Restaurant Day, experience typical „zabíjačka" at masopust events, watch movies from all around the world or dance a night away!

Grand Restaurant Festival
15 January – 28 February 2017, selected restaurants
This year's motto "Baroque on your plate" will accompany the 8th year of the popular gastro-feast for all foodies and let you sample all the specialties of the best and most interesting Prague restaurants at discounted festival prices (degustation menu prices will range from 250 CZK to 600 CZK).

Start of the new season at Náplavka Farmers' Market

The most popular farmers' market in Prague will be available again! Come to grab some farm fresh products – from handmade farmstead cheeses to cosmetics. From February 4, then every Saturday from 8am till 2pm.

Free Admission Days at the National Gallery

The National Gallery in Prague is celebrating its 221st anniversary on the weekend of 4 and 5 February 2017. On those days, admission to all permanent and short-term exhibitions is free of charge!

CIRKOPOLIS Festival
13 – 18 February 2017, Palace Akropolis & Ponec Theatre (Prague 3)
The festival is focused on new circus with contemporary dance, physical, visual theatre and genres from current music scene. This year's program is based on CircusNext laureates and other top artists from all over the Europe.

BODY Exhibition
22 February 2017 – June 2017, Prague Exhibition Grounds (Prague 7)
Let's experience the science and splendor of the human body. This unique exhibition features real full-bodies and organs, providing a detailed, three-dimensional vision of the human form rarely seen outside of an anatomy lab. The exhibition is open every day from 9am till 8pm. Admission fee: 300 CZK from Monday till Friday and 350 CZK on weekends.

Masopust
The Masopust (literally "good-bye to meat") is the carnival season between the Three Kings Day to Ash Wednesday celebrated across the whole city. Most neighborhoods across Prague have their own Masopust celebrations, taking place either on local squares, a series of streets or at a favorite local pub. Now, it′s up to you to decide where enjoy a masopust merry: Žižkov, Hlubočepy, Karlín or Lesser Quarter area.

Winter Run Prague

St. Matthew's Fair (Matějská pouť)
