At the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show, among the most highly anticipated yachts, the spotlight was on the Pardo Endurance 72, the new flagship of Pardo Yachts’ Endurance line. This yacht redefines the concept of luxury cruising, with a design crafted to deliver ultimate comfort, efficiency, and timeless beauty.

Pardo Endurance 72: a new trawler concept: cruising in freedom and style

The Pardo Endurance 72 stems from the desire to create a true luxury trawler—a yacht capable of undertaking long cruises with optimized fuel consumption, without sacrificing the pleasure of a smooth and safe navigation experience.

Every detail is designed with onboard livability in mind: expansive interior volumes, seamless transitions between spaces, and an ergonomic layout tailored for owners who want to enjoy the sea without compromise.

main deck

The waterfront pation: a new way to experience the outdoors

One of the most distinctive features of the Endurance 72 is its “open space” concept, which eliminates the barriers between indoor and outdoor areas. During the presentation, the concept of a waterfront patio was emphasized multiple times—an area that fully opens to the sea thanks to fold-down terraces and full-height sliding doors. This design allows for an impressive 61 square meters of space directly overlooking the water. At the stern, there’s also a hydraulic-opening garage that can accommodate a tender up to 3.9 meters long.

The main deck is an open-air living room, seamlessly integrated with the interiors and designed to offer an unparalleled entertainment experience.

The flybridge, with its sleek and aerodynamic design, follows the same concept, featuring spacious lounge areas to enjoy the sea in total freedom. A standout feature introduced by the Endurance 72 is the adjustable-louver T-top, which provides shade and protection over part of the deck. With its ultra-lightweight structure, it ensures stability without compromising the yacht’s aesthetics.

Pardo Endurance 72. Materials and design: where elegance meets practicality

The interiors, designed for the first time by the renowned studio BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design, exude warmth and sophistication, thanks to the use of top-quality materials: matte gray walnut wood, white Corian surfaces, and sand-toned resins. The layout is designed for maximum comfort, featuring an aft galley that opens directly onto the cockpit and a lower deck that accommodates four elegant cabins, each with a private bathroom. Privacy is a key focus of this model, which is why the owner’s cabin is positioned at the center of the yacht, separate from the guest and crew cabins, which are accessed via the forward staircase. The VIP cabin thus takes full advantage of the yacht’s beam, offering a private bathroom and spacious wardrobes.

Smart cruising: the “eco-speed” concept

The Pardo Endurance 72 has been designed for efficient and sustainable cruising. The concept of “eco-speed”—the optimal speed to maximize range and reduce fuel consumption—translates into outstanding performance: a cruising speed of 12 knots with a fuel consumption of just 80 liters per hour, ensuring a range of 900 nautical miles.

Pardo Yachts & Luna Rossa: a combination of excellence and innovation

Confirming its sporty and innovative spirit, Pardo Yachts has forged a prestigious partnership with Luna Rossa, an icon of Italian sailing worldwide. This collaboration celebrates excellence in yacht design and the relentless pursuit of perfection. While Luna Rossa symbolizes speed and cutting-edge technology, Pardo Yachts brings these same principles to the world of luxury cruising, offering owners an unparalleled experience. With the Endurance 72, Pardo Yachts reaffirms its position as a leading force in the international yachting scene, delivering a yacht that turns every journey into an unforgettable experience—where the sea becomes home and design becomes a way of life.

Ocean Alexander 35 Puro

The 35 Puro does not draw stylized cues from yachts that find a niche in geographical markets; she is simply the embodiment of what yachting is”, explains Giorgio M. Cassetta.

At the debut of the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2024, the design by the renowned architect Giorgio Cassetta and the luxury furnishings by La Poltrona Frau reveal a blend of cultures under the name PURO, aiming not to conform to global market trends but to embody pure craftsmanship.

In this bold venture, Ocean Alexander blends American taste with European design, both in external aesthetics and interiors, presenting a superyacht with fluid lines, featuring an elegant bow and a stern platform with breath-taking panoramic views.

Ocean-Alexander-35P-exteriors

Giorgio Cassetta, in collaboration with Andrea Agresta of NavalHead, approaches the body of the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro with an almost obsessive attention to proportions, details, and volumes. The same external stairs for moving from one deck to another of the yacht are perfectly aligned, as is all the flooring, from the outdoor spaces to the interiors and between the different rooms. The only access with steps inward is present in the Beach Club area, elegant and spacious, designed for a situation of extreme comfort but in contact with the water. The perfect area for those who love to engage with water toys and spend days in close contact with the ocean.

Thanks to the partnership with Poltrona Frau, the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro focuses on maximizing guest pleasure. The use of fine leather upholstery, impeccable stitching, and exclusive finishes exude timeless elegance. The choice of color palettes, ranging from cream to light brown and incorporating light blue, along with the use of premium materials and craftsmanship precision, creates a pleasantly impactful experience for those stepping on board this superyacht for the first time.

Poltrona Frau has a global reputation for creating high-end furnishings, and their products adorn the most exclusive residences. That’s why this blend of armchairs, sofas, and accessories harmoniously integrates with the sleek and modern lines of this 35-meter superyacht.

MAIN DECK

These stylistic features are present in every area of the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro. Featuring 5 cabins, including a master cabin and 4 guest cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom, this superyacht stands out from all those previously built for its style. Even the three crew cabins enjoy the rarity of each having a private bathroom and being extremely welcoming and spacious.

Onboard the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro, even the top and upper decks meet expectations. In addition to enjoying impressive headroom, both offer a full bar structure, ample sofas, and the treasure of the upper deck, an essential jacuzzi where you can enjoy your favorite cocktail served with a breathtaking view.

When designing its recreational vessels, Ocean Alexander never overlooks the theme of safety. In fact, the Ocean Alexander 35 Puro has been built with superyachts twice its size in mind. Even the air intakes for the engine room have been incorporated into the structure, an engineering choice to ensure safe navigation even in challenging conditions.

The Ocean Alexander 35 Puro certainly represents a significant evolution for this esteemed company. The goal of embracing European design without compromising identity and performance has been achieved with this naval masterpiece called Puro: the essence of all things pure.

The growth of Fiart in the American market continues with success: during the Palm Beach Boat Show, which took place from March 23-26, the American public was once again impressed by the Seawalker range on display.

After debuting Fiart fleetwith enormous success at the Miami International Boat Show, thanks in part to the exclusive importer Yachts Creators, the company sold as many as 4 units in a very short time:

We are satisfied with how the American market has welcomed our brand and our boats. The sale of four Seawalkers is a promising start. We were confident that with the right partner , we could also convey to this audience all the benefits of our products and all the passion we punt into designing and building them” said Fiart CEO Giancarlo di Luggo – “With Yacht Creators, we have charted a new encouraging course”.

Seawalker-35The Fiart models are extremely versatile and comfortable boats, with attention to detail and amazing performance. The models on display, which were the ones that have made visitors and American owners fall in love with the Italian company, were all from the Seawalker range and in walkaround version: the Seawalker 43 is the flagship of the range, just over 13 meters long, ideal for those looking for a fast cruiser that accommodates up to 12 people on board. Its smaller sister, Seawalker 39 is pure functionality: sportiness and elegance come together in a minimalist, eye-catching line that accommodates up to 12 people at sea and a maximum of 4 people overnight.

Seawalker 35, the smallest and most recent of the range, is a 10-metre sporty, fast, maneuverable and fun daily cruiser that can accommodate up to 10 people, offered in both outboard and inboard versions.

Internal livability Fiart-interioris surprising given the small spaces available, which are so functionally optimized as to give the feeling of being aboard a much larger boat. The sleeping area and head are also capable of meeting any of the owner’s needs and feature above-average height on boats of this size.

Thanks to the flexibility of the equipment and the wide customization possibilities, the Seawalker models have also been highly appreciated on the American market right from the start, picking up on the countless possibilities of use and the great adrenaline component hidden in each of these boats, which can be used as day cruisers or as luxury yacht tender boats.

Scanner Marine is leaving behind the great success it enjoyed at the Palma International Boat Show and is already projected towards the Venice Boat Show. At the Palma de Mallorca show, held from April 28th to May 1st, the shipyard exhibited five Maxi-Ribs from the Envy range, namely the Scanner Envy 1400, 1200, 1100, 950 and 710, and recorded considerable appreciation from visitors, as owner Fabio Montemitro confirms: “The public was well prepared and we received a good number of orders for next year, also because the boats we exhibited were all already sold. So the high appreciation for the Envy top range was confirmed in Palma de Mallorca, which continues to be the most popular and successful of our yard’s proposals.”

scanner-marine-palma
Scanner Marine’s exhibition at the last PIBS

“For Scanner Marine, the Palma International Boat Show confirms to be the most important and benchmark exhibition for the start of the season,” Mr. Montemitro continues. “On the other hand, thanks to Scanner Spain, which is one of our best dealers, we have been present in Spain for more than twenty years and we want to continue to meet our customers’ expectations to the best of our ability: this is precisely why we have brought the Scanner Envy 1200 to the Balearic Islands for the first time, following its debut in Cannes.”

Elegant, comfortable and high-performance, the Scanner Envy Ribs are perfect for day outings at sea, a type of boat that is increasingly sought after by the market. This is why Scanner Marine’s maxi-ribs have been highly appreciated by boating enthusiasts in Spain, and the same will undoubtedly happen at the next edition of the Venice Boat Show, where the shipyard will bring two models, the Scanner Envy 1200 inboard and the Scanner Envy 1400 outboard. The latter, in particular, is the semi-rigid top of the range of the Envy series, and with its aggressive look, generous customisation possibilities and huge deck space, it will undoubtedly be much appreciated by the public that will flock to the Venetian kermesse at the Arsenale from May 28th to June 5th.

Rosetti 38M EMOCEAN: expect the unexpected on EMOCEAN

When a custom-designed, temperature-controlled, 150-bottle-capacity wine cellar greets me as I board the Rosetti 38M at the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) where hull No. 1 made her first stateside appearance after an outstanding unveiling at the Cannes Yachting Festival (CYF) in September, my inner voice tells me one thing – expect the unexpected on EMOCEAN!

Whether wine cellaryou prefer sipping a glass of red or white, the layout lifts your spirits. Magnified in immensity by its reflection in the above mirror, the wine cellar not only visually doubles in size, it too divides aft seating from the formal dining room, and separates guest quarters from the forward starboard master stateroom.

The second focus of attention in the main salon – revealing the core character of the 12-passenger floating palace with exterior design and naval architecture by Hydro Tec and BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Designs – is the bespoke Giacinto Bosco art sculpture anchoring the center stairwell.

The situation of the iconic piece lifts more than just your spirits; it optically accompanies you ascending up the staircase. By the end of my tour with PR and communications manager, Consuelo Bentivogli, a deep connection could be felt between the owners and the Sicilian-born artist whose designs, inspired by the moon and the poetic dimension of dreams, adorn other areas as well.

rosetti 38m emoceanApart from the art, EMOCEAN’s seven-by-five foot midship glass flooring panel does its part extracting EMOTION… especially the first time crossing over the clear walkway and glancing ten feet below into the lower deck, when both your heartbeat and pace pick up speed. Sunbeams filtering down level by level from the flybridge skylight naturally enhance the unique visual lucidity provided from the corridor. Bentivogli then tells me – The view by night is even more amazing.

Also noteworthy on the main deck, is the master stateroom setup incorporating a private office sliding partition for separation of areas, walk-in wardrobe, and wonderful fixed-position waterfront balcony just calling your name to stop, sit and smell the roses, or in this case, the salted ocean air!

Moving upward, the open aft bridge deck seals the deal with astonishing, unforeseen elements from minimalist flush speakers imbedded into the doors, to the stylish 1.5 ton tender crane-turned-countertop. Once the 6-meter ZAR Formenti 61 is lowered into the sea, the one-of-a-kind Crane Sanguineti– crafted of teak to blend in with its surroundings – effortlessly converts into part of the exterior lounge entertainment zone.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401Ample anchor points also spread across the deck facilitating the flexible storage of additional jet-skis and such.

And while on the topic of motorized toys, there is indeed a Swedish Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 motorcycle resting on the lower beach club deck, for days when EMOCEAN is docked and a roadside ride is desired over an ocean dive.

When finished riding and diving, to feel more alive head up to the sun deck, and most fun deck, fit with a covered workout gym and 18-jet, cascading-waterfall jacuzzi pool, which fills with 5,000 liters in 30 minutes.

Helping to achieve the owners’ goal for long periods of complete ocean independence on the Rosetti 38M EMOCEAN, the number 5,000 resurfaces… this time in nautical miles (9,260 kilometers), which is the 10-knot cruising range capability.

rosetti 38m sundeckPalpably, the other part of the goal was to produce a structurally safe, sound and serene superyacht. Rosetti Superyachts guaranteed this could be done, seeing that, Rosetti Marino Group transferred a century of commercial ship building DNA in the oil and gas exploration field to its new luxury yacht division.

In the end, all the goodness on the self-sufficient explorer cost €18.4 million ($20.4 million) and EMOCEAN is available for charter through Camper & Nicholson at €144,800 ($160,000) a week.Pairing the Ravenna-based shipyard’s European success story (construction commenced this fall on the second edition of the 38M and prior to the CYF Sunday closure, news surfaced of a 40-meter explorer yacht LOI) with its recent day ravishing reviews from Palm Beach – Expect the Unexpected – with Rosetti Superyachts!

Ocean Alexander 35R: “Best in Show” becomes “Best of the Sea”

Ocean Alexander might have been lacking long-range motoryachts to fill its slips at the 2022 Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS), but the leading Taiwanese manufacturer is certainly not slacking in sales. Not only is it sold out of current inventory, business is so booming, it bumped Feadship down to fourth place on the 2021 Global Order Book (GOB).

Ocean Alexander 35R navigationOf the impressive fleet including three brand new models ranging from 30- 37 meters – the 35R is the one to watch! The renowned crown jewel of the Revolution series, designed by Evan K Marshall and Arrabito Naval Architects, took the 62nd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) by storm, motoring away with the coveted Best in Show triumph from NBC Sports. The win was only the beginning! Judging from her overnight success and staggering sales record, the Ocean Alexander 35R has gone from “Best in Show” to “Best of the Sea.”

Discussing Ocean Alexander’s prosperous future at the PBIBS, Sally Doleski, vice president of marketing, explains – Following the world premiere, we sold the next two incoming hulls to US buyers at the FLIBS, and No. 3 is set to deliver to Europe late this summer in time for Cannes. What’s more, the fourth and fifth hulls are also under contact.

Sally DoleskiAlthough the outer quay was OA-less, once you step on board the new 35R, the exquisite physical beauty and boldness in design take your breath away. To start, she impresses with luxurious living spaces of prolific proportions comfortably carrying a party of ten. The crew of five also has private passages and discreet stateroom entrances to bypass passenger areas when moving about.

On the aft deck, tradition went out the door by reversing the U-shaped seating arrangement to face the back of the boat. This distinct shift gives guests the ability to observe down below and monitor activities of any young ones in the sea. Then, when outdoor playtime ends and mealtime begins, the press of a button actuates the opening of a stainless-steel framed sliding glass door to enter the salon. And voilà, eyes are instantaneously met with an engineering wonder… floor-to-ceiling windows and a near 360-degree visual.

saloonIf you want to be even more floored, first, walk along the marble walkway on the main deck to the forward master and admire the king-size berth, then head to the master head to marvel in his and her sinks and separate enclosed water closets joined by a center tub and enclosed shower.

Saving “Best for Last,” the 116-foot engineering masterpiece had me at aft beach club. From top to bottom, the cabana gives new meaning to entertaining at sea level. Most impressive from above is the overhead tinted glass window great for day gazing up to the aft deck; and from below, what turns heads is the sauna, workout room and private day head accessed directly from the fold-down swim platform or conversely via a portside staircase.

Ocean Alexander named the series Revolution for a reason – the 35R tells the story why!

The Royal William Yard played host to the world premiere of the all-new Princess V50 this past February, followed by her first imperial appearance in March in North America on Ramp 4 of the 40th Anniversary edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) front and center among seven siblings including: the V55, V60, S66, Y72 and Y85.

Princess expositionStyling cues, clean lines and curved moldings make the model standout as an easily identifiable member of the V series slotted to the left of the V55. Remarkably, another of its strengths hails from simply drawing the canopy out as long as possible. Even though the size and beam equal that of its predecessor, it could be said that the sportcruiser “goes to great lengths” bestowing a much bigger feel when on board.

For Act II of the ageing V50, the Plymouth yard partnered with the global icon of Italian design Pininfarina and the naval architects of Olesinski. The end result was a collaboration done correctly fusing functionality and flexibility with a revitalized exterior and harmonized interior full of candor and luminosity.

internal cockpitOn the outside, major functional modifications begin on the transom, in that; both sides now provide passage to the cockpit and directly onto the sidedecks. The narrower port side features a stainless steel, temperature controlled freshwater shower wand that pops out, and the starboard houses a shore power compartment tucked into the middle step. Another noticeable standout are the sturdy stainless steel cleats the boat lines are wrapped around, eliminating the constant chafing produced from the ropes rubbing up against the gel coat on the hull sides.

As one ascends onto the aft terrace, moving the rear seat back added an additional foot and a half more space to comfortably seat eight to ten people, as well, the port side walkthrough can be closed in with a sectional cushion.

V50 navigationThe most coveted and inviting spot however, has to be the L-shaped corner couch. Protected from the elements thanks to hefty side coamings, the superbly situated seat facing the table provides a phenomenal view of the V50’s wake splashing against the horizon.

What’s more, the extended canopy not only blocks the midday rays for shady lunches, but also zips up to shelter the area on bad weather days. A second IPS joystick system including all engine controls even permits the pilot to join the party.

Inside the salon, the new version of the V50 doubles your pleasure with twin monitors and a pair of diamond-stitched, Bentley-eque sliding, bucket seats. Also sliding, but in this case open and closed, are the grandiose side windows and trio of huge glass panels built into the hardtop; both do their part to bring natural light and air in.

V50 interior saloonThe floating helm and cut away shaping of the dashboard combined with the open central staircase permit light to filter down to the galley, where a domestic-size fridge and deep sink facilitate dining preparations. Past the galley and into the VIP cabin, eyes are instantly drawn to long knife-shaped windows, and flexible sleeping quarters enable the large bed to be arranged into a split berth.

Ramping up horsepower to 480, twin Volvo Penta IPS 656 engines now increase maximum speed to 32 knots (59 km/h), while toning it down to cruising at 25 knots (46 km/h) allows for a 250-nautical-mile (463 kilometers) range sea escape.

An open main deck version of the €1.44 million ($1.6 million) enclosed model geared toward warmer climates with no doors and a canvas sun roof, is also available. Judging from the Palm Beach show-goers lined up at the Princess display from the first hour on opening day to the last hour during the Sunday finale; the V50 is on its way to being a pivotal game changer in the sportcruiser segment.

MCY 70 Skylounge : world premiere for Monte Carlo Yachts

Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70 skyloungeThere is no doubt, Monte Carlo Yachts wants to conquer the American market and, in Miami, unveils its latest creation, the MCY 70 Skylounge that is not only the first enclosed flybridge model ever built by the Monfalcone-based shipyard but is even the first ever made by an Italian boat manufacturer. The news makes noise, also because the Slylounge line will soon be enriched with three new models: the 66, the 76 and the 80.

It’s a really interesting challenge for Monte Carlo Yachts, which has decided to create an enclosed model with all the characteristics of Monte Carlo Yachts’ creations which, far from being technical like most of USA models, are comfortable and luxury boats, perfect to be used by their own owners 365 days a year.

Of course, we could not miss the opportunity to admire the MCY 70 Skylounge during her world premiere presentation.

MCY 70 Skylounge

From the dock, our eye immediately falls on the enclosed flybridge. Its structure is the natural continuation of the gentle and slender line of the main deck. A line that does not exasperate a vertical development but tries to slacken horizontally thanks to a soft angle of incidence on the deck and to the extension on a deck that extends towards the stern.

The result, achieved by the shipyard thanks to the precious pencil of the Nuvolari-Lenard design studio, is a structure with elegant, non-extreme lines which harmoniously integrates with the yacht.

Once on board, MCY 70 Skylounge, main deckwe immediately get the main deck, where an interesting innovation has been introduced in order to obtain a considerable increase of spaces. The helm station is now located on the upper deck. As a result, everything seems wider and airier, not because the surface has increased but because the space has been carefully arranged to better meet the owner and his guests’ needs.

Monte Carlo Yachts offers a wide range of options, including the possibility to totally customize the main deck, where the absence of a console obviously increases the possibilities to create a custom, elegant and multi-function living room with a 360-degree sea view.

Moreover, this particular boat has a comfortable and rational layout.

In the bow, the helm station has been replaced by a comfortable dining room. The fully-equipped galley, equipped with a very long U-shaped countertop, is faced by a table which, when totally open, can seat up to 6 persons in total comfort.

MCY 70 skylounge, staircaseThanks to the introduction of a fully-equipped dining room inside, the choice options are double: guests can choose whether to have their meals outside beside the cockpit table or indoors. Both solutions are excellent and comfortable and make this yacht perfect to be used in all seasons.

Another important innovation of the MCY 70 Skylounge is the introduction of a day toilet on the aft section of the port side of the main deck, opposite the glass staircase that leads to the flybridge. Of course, it’s an option but we find this solution very convenient, both in winter and summer and, above all, designed to improve comfort on board, preventing the guests from entering the night zone to freshen up.

The main deck of the MCY 70 Slylounge is a very bright space, not only thanks to the elegant light-coloured furnishings that enhance the sense of well-being, but also thanks to the wide and spectacular windows that give the feeling of being in a painting.

We let MCY 70 Skylounge, enclosed flybridgeourselves be enveloped by this relaxing atmosphere for a while, then we climb the internal staircase and reach the enclosed flybridge, the innovation that will conquer all those who look for a boat with more volumes on the main deck without sacrificing comfort. We reach the highest point of the yacht, where we are welcomed by a living room with island sofa. This space does not only house the living room but, as we have already mentioned above, even the helm station which, despite being in a closed area, benefits from a direct connection with the outside because it is equipped with a panoramic opening glass roof. MCY has also introduced a double sliding door that leads from the upper deck to the sunbathing terrace.

MCY 70 Skylounge, bow cockpitLooking at the bow, we realize that the absence of an open flybridge on the MCY 70 Skylounge is counterbalanced by the presence of a bow cockpit that, unusual for size and design, allows to fully enjoy the yacht even on the outside.

Featuring a unique design, this space is one of the most appreciated elements of the whole Monte Carlo Yachts Vision line; it is a true trademark of Nuvolari Lenard’s pencil and, on the Skylounge version, it is even more a strong point.

Considering that many American-style enclosed flybridge models do not even have a bow cockpit and that only few boats of the same size have one of these dimensions, we find it is a Mediterranean touch that will act as a bridge between the US and the European market.

We go down the internal stairs until we reach the lower bridge.

In order to ensure the right privacy for the owner and his guests, there are two entrances that, from the main deck of the MCY 70 Skylounge, lead to the lower deck. An important detail that Monte Carlo Yachts has successfully taken into consideration.

The staircaseMCY 70 Skylounge under way located on the right side of the main deck gives access to the master cabin. Full-beam, the latter is equipped with a double bed in the middle, a sofa, a desk, a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The access staircase is a natural continuation of the one that leads to the flybridge, intermediated by the passage to the main deck, thus allowing the owner to reach all decks directly.

The guest night area, which occupies the forward portion of the hull, instead, is accessible via the staircase that opens from the central part of the main deck and divides the galley from the dining area. It consists of three cabins: a VIP with separate bathroom in the bow and two twin-bedded cabins with shared bathroom.

The crew cabin, separated from both the owner and guests’ cabins, is twin-bedded, with direct access to the engine room and separate bathroom.

Conclusions

Monte Carlo Yachts “closes” to open up to the American market with a yacht that has the right characteristics to do so and that make this novelty a perfect bridge between the ocean and the Mediterranean.

One among the most interesting boats we saw at the last Palm Beach International Boat Show was certainly the Vicem 46 IPS.

Vicem Yachts 46 ips NavigazioneThe main reason for that is her timeless design which perfectly combines classic elegance with more aggressive lines.

After all, this is the distinctive mark of the whole Vicem range. But, in the case of the new 46-footer, legitimate interest is due to an additional reason: the boat is the first model of the Turkish shipyard built in fiberglass and epoxy instead of the traditional laminated mahogany.

The result materialized before our eyes at the boat show: a sturdy, lighter and more performing hull which hasn’t lost anything of the traditional charm and elegance of the Vicem creations.

The boat was designed by Vicem’s in-house design team with a view to create a 46-footer with huge inner volumes to be placed in the upper market of boats of this size.

Beyond a rather classic distribution of spaces, interiors are quite spacious also thanks to the Volvo Penta IPS engines which have significantly reduced the sizes of the engine room to the benefit of inner volumes.

From the cockpit, furnished with an elegant L-shape sofa wrapping the table, guests can enter the welcoming lounge, flooded with light both during the day, when natural light enters from the large side windows, and at night, thanks to a warm and well-conceived lighting system.

Vicem Yachts 46 ips Interni

The dinette, too, is elegantly furnished, with a L-shaped sofa and a lot of room made available by the choice of locating the galley on the lower deck.

Vicem Yachts 46 ips consolleThe lounge and cockpit are separated by a sliding door which, when open, contributes to make interiors even more ergonomic since there is no longer any separation and the result is a large unique living space.

Before the dinette, on the starboard side, there is the pilot station, where the helmsman has a comfortable chair and all electronic instruments handy.

Here, we find another interesting element, a little unusual on boats of this size: a side door overlooking the handrail. It shouldn’t be underestimated since it considerably eases movement around the vessel, especially while maneuvering in a port.

The standard layout foresees two large double cabins. The owner’s one has a lot of space around the centrally-located double bed, ample storage space and a private bathroom complete with shower.

Vicem Yachts 46 ips armatoriale

The guest cabin has two twin beds which can be easily joined to make a single queen-size bed, while the guest bathroom is out of the cabin.

The Vicem 46 is also available in a flybridge version. In this case, the upper deck is equipped with a bar area with electric BBQ and refrigerator.

Powered by two IPS 600 Volvo Penta engines, the Vicem 46 is fast and silent. The top speed is close to 30 knots while cruising speed is 26 knots, with just 62 decibel recorded during the sea trials experienced by the Vicem staff. Thanks to the reliable Volvo Penta dynamic stability system and GPS controls, the Vicem 46 always maintains her desired position.
