CEM lands in America: strategic agreement signed with Environmental Marine Service

CEM, one of the leading international players in the design and manufacture of pumps and fans for the shipbuilding industry, adds an important milestone to its global expansion path: the company has a new official dealer for the east coast of the United States, Environmental Marine Service. Led by Tim and Mary Griffin, Environmental Marine Service is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and boasts a long and solid experience in the boating sector.

The agreement – signed during the Metstrade show in Amsterdam – represents a decisive step in CEM’s international strategy. The signing confirms the company’s commitment to strengthening its global dealer network.

About Environmental Marine Service

Environmental Marine Service is a well-established distributor in the boating industry, specializing in components for sanitary systems, pumps, fans, and spare parts. Thanks to this agreement, customers on the US east coast will have more direct access not only to the full range of CEM products, but also to specialized technical support—an added strategic value for yachting, where reliability and rapid response are essential. For CEM, having a dealer in the USA reduces delivery times and makes technical assistance more efficient.

Andrea Corradi, CEO of CEM, stated: “We are enthusiastic about starting this partnership with Environmental Marine Service. Their experience in the US market and their reputation in marine distribution make this agreement a perfect fit for strengthening our presence in the USA. We are not looking only at sales; we are building a service network that guarantees real value for our customers”.

Measured yet steady global growth

In recent years, CEM has recorded exceptional growth in the boating market, with an increase in annual turnover and solid commercial expansion. The company closed 2024 with a +20% increase in revenues. This success is not accidental, but rather the result of a constant commitment to research and development, which has led to the creation of cutting-edge products. Thanks to a targeted internationalization strategy and a series of strategic partnerships, CEM products are available and appreciated in every corner of the globe, from North America to Asia, from Europe to Australia. The company’s distribution network has become increasingly widespread, ensuring excellent customer service and timely technical support wherever required.

However, CEM’s expansion path has not been rushed: the company has always moved forward with caution, favoring organic growth and carefully selected partnerships rather than rapid but potentially fragile expansion. This approach reflects a long-term philosophy aimed at ensuring not only commercial presence, but also reliable, long-lasting, and high-quality service and support.
