A fast cruiser designed for passionate, experienced owners who look for real thrills and excitement at the helm. ICE 54 Suite is the new creation from Ice Yachts, an evolution of its best-selling ICE 54, built with outstanding craftsmanship and innovative materials, paired with finishes worthy of an 80-foot sailing yacht.

With the original ICE 54, the shipyard had already introduced a new generation of ultra-modern yachts that combine performance and onboard comfort, ideal both for demanding cruises and for taking part in regattas and sailing competitions. ICE 54 Suite takes this concept even further, bringing to the market the prototype of a perfect fast cruiser – once again designed by Felci Yacht Design – that enhances the comfort, luxury, and interior livability features typical of ICE’s smaller models.

The ICE 54 Suite in detail

The shipyard’s trademark features — the scimitar-shaped bow and the “smiling” stern — come directly from the ICE 33 racer. From a hydrodynamic perspective, the waterlines and appendages promise outstanding performance, both when sailing upwind at very tight angles and when planing at high speed downwind, thanks to a generous maximum beam of 4.65 meters and broad, powerful aft sections.

The numbers of the ICE 54 Suite are impressive: 13 tons of displacement (25% less than the category average), nearly 160 square meters of upwind sail area (rising to 400 square meters downwind), and outstanding safety thanks to high form stability and the weight-to-keel ratio. The hull and deck are laminated in a female mold using hybrid glass and carbon fibers with epoxy infusion; the carbon structures are vacuum-laminated and become one piece with the hull and deck. These choices, besides keeping weight down, give the boat exceptional solidity and strength, able to handle repeated loads and heavy stresses during the most demanding passages.

ice-54-suite-sailing

Another strenght of the ICE 54 Suite is the versatility offered by its keel configurations: choosing a lifting keel allows to adjust the draft from nearly 3.7 meters to 2.3 meters, while the standard keel version ranges from 2.5 to about 2.8 meters, allowing the yacht to adapt to any need or cruising ground. These options are tied to optimizing the bulb weight, which is specifically sized and CNC-machined. The Weldox high-strength steel fin and the CNC-machined lead bulb also reduce the percentage of ballast weight, lowering the yacht’s total displacement while maintaining the same righting moment.

Endless combinations for the interior spaces

Another strong point of the ICE 54 Suite is its spacious, comfortable, and highly customizable interiors. Owners can choose from multiple layouts, a wide range of finish materials, and countless details. The large forward master cabin easily accommodates a full-size bed accessible from both sides, just like at home. Alternatively, the owner can opt for the version with the bathroom located forward instead of the classic cabin.

interior

Ice Yachts has also paid special attention to the innovative galley layout, featuring a practical island that creates a pleasant sense of continuity with the dinette’s living area. Another standout feature of the ICE 54 Suite is the expanded aft volume, which makes it possible to have an extra-large bathroom with a separate shower serving the guest cabins.

Air conditioning comes as standard, while the wide, bright lacquered surfaces reinterpret the typical interior style, aiming for modern simplicity without compromising functionality. The galley’s clean, contemporary design includes a full-height domestic-style refrigerator and a state-of-the-art island equipped with a dishwasher, offering a large work surface and an elegant, well-organized space that feels like a home kitchen even onboard.

ICE-54-Suite-galley

The deck reflects the signature lines of Felci Yacht Design, combining simplicity with style, modernity with efficiency, comfort with versatility. Aft of the helm stations there is a large relaxation area with direct access to the sea through the practical fold-down stern platform, which doubles as a swim platform and gives access to the garage, large enough to store a 2.80-meter tender without deflating it. The cockpit, featuring wide benches and comfortable sea-keeping backrests, is distinctly oversized, providing not only great protection while sailing but also room for a large dining table.

The large side windows enhance the connection with the surrounding environment, making life on board brighter and more enjoyable. The deck equipment, designed to be handled even by a small crew, never interferes with onboard comfort, which is further ensured by meticulous attention to detail. High-quality components that reflect the shipyard’s elevated standards include the flush deck hatches, the dodger recessed into the coachroof, the cockpit-floor locker for hiding all halyards, and the dedicated liferaft compartment. The mast—also available in a high-modulus version—and the boom are made of carbon as standard, autoclave-cured and supplied by leading manufacturers. Carbon standing rigging is also available. The sail plan features a very low-overlap genoa, no running backstays, and shrouds attached directly to the hull, while the structural tanks for water and fuel are positioned under the floorboards to lower the center of gravity and increase storage space.

In conclusion, we can say that the ICE 54 Suite offers the comfort and space of a 60-footer just a few years ago, combined with the agility of a highly responsive 50-footer. Thanks to the technologies used—such as lightweight panels—the shipyard has achieved significant weight savings compared to a traditional build, without sacrificing the quality of the carpentry, both in the refinement of the finishes and in the excellence of the details.

A new contender in high-performance sailing is born. ICE Yachts, in collaboration with Felci Yacht Design, presents the ICE 80 Sport, a 24-metre yacht that marks an evolution in the construction philosophy of the Salvirola-based shipyard. It is the most sporty and fastest boat ever built by the brand, a project that combines technological research, advanced materials and refined design, created for those who want to experience the sea with a competitive spirit without giving up the comfort and quality of a true cruising yacht.

ICE 80 Sport, a perfect balance between performance and comfort

The ICE 80 Sport redefines the concept of a versatile yacht, designed to excel on international race courses while offering top-level cruising spaces and solutions. ICE Yachts wanted to create a boat capable of expressing power, responsiveness and control, but also of accompanying its owner on long passages with equal efficiency and safety. The result is a new generation of full-carbon maxi yachts that blend comfort and speed in a single, elegant interpretation.

There comes a moment when cruising stops being just sailing and becomes a true experience. This is the philosophy that guided ICE Yachts in creating the ICE 70 Suite, the new and refined evolution of the renowned ICE 70 designed by Felci Yacht Design.

The Salvirola-based shipyard thus introduces a yacht that redefines the boundaries of luxury bluewater sailing, combining the stylistic purity of Felci design with the most advanced composite and carbon construction technologies. The result is a 70-footer with harmonious proportions, blending elegance, performance, and comfort in perfect balance.

ICE 70 Suite, a project centered on the owner

The heart of the ICE 70 Suite is its owner’s suite with over 16 square meters of space—a true apartment on the sea, arranged across the beam and designed to offer absolute privacy and comfort. The double bed faces a large screen, while a spacious walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom complete the setting, finished with fine materials and elegant details.

ICE 70 SUITE owner's suite

All potentially noisy systems—from the generator to the air conditioning pumps—have been placed far from the sleeping area in highly soundproofed compartments, ensuring an almost unreal silence even while sailing or at anchor. The design philosophy aims to create a welcoming and sophisticated onboard atmosphere, where the best Italian craftsmanship meets a refined, modern-classic style. Natural teak dominates the surfaces, combined with leather panels and fabrics in beige and white tones that enhance the interior brightness. The teak flooring, with wenge inlays, visually connects all spaces, while the hull and deckhouse windows feature an innovative liquid crystal system that allows them to be dimmed or frosted at the touch of a button, eliminating the need for curtains.

ICE 70 suite interior

In addition to the main suite, the layout includes two guest mini-suites, each with its own bathroom, and a comfortable, completely independent crew area.

From a construction standpoint, the ICE 70 Suite xconfirms ICE’s tradition: hull, deck, and structural components made of carbon fiber, built using vacuum infusion to achieve maximum stiffness and lightness. With a displacement of 27 tons and a ballast of 6.6 tons, it offers excellent form stability, resulting in precise and controlled sea behavior. The single carbon JP3 rudder ensures responsiveness and safety even in demanding conditions, while Felci’s hull lines emphasize efficiency and smooth performance.

ICE yachts

Technology and onboard comfort

The ICE 70 Suite is designed for long-range cruising in absolute comfort, thanks to its cutting-edge onboard architecture. The 48-volt electrical system—unique in its class—dramatically reduces power consumption while supplying all onboard services, including proportional bow and stern thrusters equipped with next-generation brushless motors. The new Victron lithium iron phosphate batteries, fireproof and with very high capacity, allow the use of air conditioning and utilities for many hours without relying on the generator.

Completing the setup is a powerful 230 hp Yanmar engine capable of pushing the yacht to speeds comparable to 100-footers, and a 14 kW Onan generator ensuring full autonomy during long stays at sea.

Among the most innovative features are the ultrasonic antifouling sensors, which extend the life of the hull coating, and the Cariboni hydraulic lifting keel, designed by Felci, which reduces draft from 4.50 to just 2.75 meters, significantly expanding cruising freedom.

The galley, worthy of a luxury residence, is equipped to professional standards, with refrigerators up to 400 liters, a watermaker, hot and cold water systems, gas installation, and a waste macerator—features that make life on board effortlessly comfortable.

interior

ICE 70 Suite: deck and outdoor spaces

On deck, the ICE 70 Suite reflects the yard’s trademark functional elegance. The sleek, clean lines of the deckhouse, with flush windows and uncluttered surfaces free of ropes and fittings, create a refined and safe environment. The large, deep cockpit—designed through a meticulous ergonomic study—ensures protection and comfort under sail. All running rigging is logically arranged, with Harken Performa electric winches and halyards and sheets led under the deck for a tidy, easy-to-handle setup.

detailing

The opening transom provides access to a tender garage that can accommodate a dinghy of up to 3.40 meters, operated by a rotating carbon crane patented by ICE Yachts. The flush swim platform becomes a true terrace over the sea, perfect for relaxing or getting into the water. Above, generous sunbathing areas invite guests to enjoy life on board even at anchor, in a flawless balance of privacy, space, and functionality.

There are boats built for sailing, and others built for traveling. The ICE 64 Explorer belongs to the latter: it’s a yacht designed to cross oceans, yet it carries the lightness, precision, and elegance that define Italian craftsmanship. We set off from the Cannes Yachting Festival, heading to Genoa for an 80-mile transfer that turned into a real, demanding, and fascinating night test. After just a few hours on board, it’s clear that this new creation from ICE Yachts is much more than a sailboat: it’s a masterpiece of engineering, comfort, and advanced customization, designed for those who expect everything from the sea: performance, safety, and authentic beauty.

ICE 64 Explorer Sea Trial

We left Cannes in the late afternoon, with an almost calm sea and a true wind of just 6–7 knots. We hoisted the Code 0, and the boat reacts promptly: the ICE 64 Explorer accelerates effortlessly, reaching over 8 knots and even sailing a knot and a half faster than the wind. It’s the mark of a refined hull, designed to generate apparent wind and turn it into pure drive.

The helm is precise yet light, with instant response and a feeling of perfect balance. Even when sailing upwind, the Explorer maintains speeds above 7 knots with smooth motion, free from impacts or vibrations. As the wind increases slightly to 9–10 knots, the boat easily reaches 9.5 knots, gliding softly and steadily over the waves—perfect for long ocean crossings.

More than a simple sea trial, this was a true voyage: 80 miles overnight that allowed us to fully experience the explorer concept. The rigid dodger, a defining feature of this version, creates a protected and comfortable space even when conditions worsen. The red interior lights make night vision easier, and the sense of safety is total. Even when the swell builds—two-meter waves from the southwest—the boat holds her trim effortlessly.

ice 64 explorer sea trial

Under sail, the ICE 64 Explorer showcases all the shipyard’s expertise: the sail plan, with staysail, genoa, and Code 0, allows for easy handling in any condition, thanks to electric furlers and a deck layout designed for easy sailing. The balance of this yacht is exemplary, as is visibility from the helm, even when sailing downwind.

At dawn, after a full night of sailing with true wind between 8 and 10 knots and a residual swell of about a meter and a half, we arrive in Varazze. The average speed stayed steady between 7 and 8 knots, with higher peaks under the Code 0. It’s a performance that impresses not so much for the numbers, but for how effortlessly the boat maintains it even in challenging conditions, without ever conveying strain or tension.

Under power, the Yanmar 4JH 110 hp engine delivers a cruising speed of around 8 knots with low fuel consumption, but the real heart of the experience is sailing. Everything on board, from the helm to sail handling, is designed to be managed safely and easily even by a couple, with total control and confidence.

This ICE 64 Explorer is living proof that a world cruiser can deliver the same emotions as a racer, while offering the comfort and silence that only a true bluewater yacht can provide.

The ICE 64 Explorer in detail

The ICE 64 Explorer was born to sail far, without sacrificing the comfort and quality that have always distinguished the Salvirola-based shipyard. The composite hull, made with fiberglass and carbon fiber ensures lightness, rigidity, and strength, while the deck layout has been developed to provide maximum autonomy and safety, even on long ocean crossings.

The large rigid dodger—an unmistakable signature feature of this Explorer version—is more than just protection: it houses nearly 3 kW of solar panels, an integrated mainsheet traveler, and a rainwater collection system, all designed to minimize energy impact during long voyages. Above the dodger, an opening front window provides natural ventilation on hot days, while two top hatches make it easy to monitor sail trim.

ice 64 explorer drone view

On deck, everything is designed to simplify life on board: electric winches, an aft-running deck layout, wide side decks, and a reinforced bow roller with a double anchor support. The staysail, genoa, and Code 0—each on furlers—make the boat suitable for all wind conditions and greatly reduce the need for manual handling.

At the bow, a dedicated compartment houses four diving tanks with an integrated compressor, while at the stern, an arched structure serves as a davit for tender handling. These details perfectly embody the shipyard’s philosophy: everything must be functional, yet elegant and seamlessly integrated into the overall design.

The interiors, designed as always by the ICE Yachts team and customizable in every detail, represent the essence of long-range comfort. The central dinette spans the full beam of the yacht, featuring two large opposing sofas and an extendable table that can seat up to ten people. The materials are high-quality: natural woods, soft leathers, and matte finishes that create a sense of warmth and harmony.

The galley is designed to be truly functional under way: four gimballed induction burners, a double sink, top-loading fridge, three refrigerated compartments, and a freezer. Everything is planned to ensure full autonomy during weeks-long cruises. The owner’s cabin, located forward, is a masterpiece of design and practicality. The French-style queen bed is flanked by a large wardrobe and a vanity seat, while the private bathroom offers a separate shower and superyacht-level finishes. Completing the layout are two spacious guest cabins, a convertible office/crew cabin, and a technical area dedicated to charting and onboard systems management.

Every detail, from the strategically placed handrails to the easily accessible maintenance panels, reveals meticulous design and a clear goal: to create a yacht truly capable of sailing around the world while offering the comfort and beauty that only Italian craftsmanship can deliver.

The jiber by UBI MAIOR ITALIA is a jib furling system that has revolutionized the way sailors handle their headsails. Unlike traditional furlers that use a rigid aluminum profile, the Jiber operates directly with a solid rod forestay that rotates on itself to furl the sail.

ubi maior jiber

Why is the Jiber by UBI MAIOR ITALIA so revolutionary?

Lightness and performance: The absence of the traditional aluminum profile drastically reduces the weight aloft on the mast. This results in improved boat performance, especially upwind, and greater stability. Some estimate a weight saving of around 30 kg, which is a significant advantage for a sailing yacht.

Versatility: It offers the best of both worlds — the convenience of a furling system for cruising and the performance of a racing sail. You can use sails with hanks or a zippered luff sleeve, and the system is much faster to lower compared to a traditional furler.

Sail handling: The system allows you to hoist and lower the sail in the traditional way while maintaining full control over halyard tension. It can also be used with the sail partially furled (reefed), which is useful in strong wind conditions.

Advanced versions: In addition to the manual model, UBI MAIOR has introduced electric and hydraulic versions of the Jiber, making sail management even easier — especially for larger yachts.

furler

In summary, the Jiber by UBI MAIOR ITALIA is the ideal solution for those who love both racing and cruising and don’t want to compromise between performance and practicality. During the Genoa International Boat Show, the company announced a further upgrade to the Jiber that will undoubtedly increase the success this onboard accessory has already achieved. The upper terminal will be removable (it is structurally divided into two parts), allowing the owner to use the same forestay even for racing—though this means losing the furling capability. This is particularly important because if a tuff luff is installed, the sail cannot be furled without risking serious damage to the tuff luff.

jiber furler

What’s more, UBI MAIOR ITALIA has also started supplying its new line of mooring cleats to the most demanding shipyards, once again standing out for innovation and design.

These new cleats, called BTS, are retractable and have been designed to meet both practical and aesthetic needs. They combine a modern, minimalist design with clean, angular lines—without compromising on strength.

Main features of the BTS cleats by UBI MAIOR ITALIA:

Retractable design: When not in use, they blend seamlessly into the deck surface, keeping it clear and uncluttered. This provides both aesthetic and functional advantages, reducing tripping hazards and enhancing the overall look of the boat.

Materials: They are available in anodized aluminum for marine environments and in stainless steel, offering different options depending on weight and strength requirements.

Customization: UBI MAIOR offers the option to customize the cleats with the yacht’s or shipyard’s logo—a detail that adds a touch of exclusivity.

Load capacity: They are designed for boats of various sizes, with lengths ranging from 25 to 43 centimeters and capable of withstanding loads from 3,300 to 7,500 kilograms.

These products are yet another confirmation of UBI MAIOR ITALIA’s philosophy of combining craftsmanship with modern production techniques to deliver high-quality deck fittings with outstanding performance.

With Ice Yachts, sailing yachts take a leap forward, reaching levels never seen before. The shipyard keeps outdoing itself with every model, but with the new Ice Yachts L6, it has reached the peak of radical and unprecedented innovation. This is a truly revolutionary yacht, designed by Camillo Garroni and unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival: in short, a sailing yacht with the configuration and layout of a motor yacht—the first of its kind—breaking every boundary and taking comfort to a level sailors aren’t used to. Yet, it still manages to maintain the performance and handling that distinguish every model built by the yard.

In the interview featured in the video below, filmed exclusively at the French boat show, Garroni and Marco Malgara, the owner of Ice Yachts, explain in detail what this new yacht will be like, standing next to the first scale model.

The starting idea was very clear: “This new yacht fulfills what has been my dream since I started designing boats—to create a high-performance sailing yacht that could offer all the advantages of a motor yacht” explains Garroni. After all, the designer has been creating yachts for top-level shipyards for 35 years and is very familiar with motor yachts. Thanks to this versatility, Garroni managed to bring the comfort and layout of motor yachts to the Ice Yachts L6, finally realizing his long-held dream. The result is a successful balance that preserves the right proportions and remains faithful to the brand’s identity, known worldwide for building the most solid, fast, and finely crafted sailing yachts.

ICE-Yachts-L6-side-view

Marco Malgara confirms it too: “The idea was to bring the concept of open-air motor yachts closer to sailing, with plenty of outdoor space to spend time on board, combined with good sailing performance”.The result is a highly innovative project with optimized spaces and clever design updates—from the raised dinette area to an exceptionally comfortable and soundproofed night zone, reaching levels never seen before. It’s an inspired idea that’s sure to set a trend: “We’re witnessing an evolution in how sailing yachts are used, and this new Ice Yachts L6 concept is the ultimate expression of that”, says Malgara without hesitation.

rendering

It’s worth taking a closer look at the revolutionary layout of the Ice Yachts L6. The night area is separated from the lower deck and no longer includes the traditional below-deck dinette found on most classic sailing yachts—an area that, in truth, is rarely used. The entire living space has been moved to the upper deck, enhancing comfort for both the owner and guests. The galley is now closer to the beach club and main deck, allowing whoever is cooking to remain part of the social atmosphere while preparing meals, without odors spreading below deck. Of course, the entire area can be enclosed and climate-controlled as needed: it’s essentially a multifunctional space that can be enjoyed both on sunny days and in bad weather.

Another feature that makes the Ice Yachts L6 truly unique is its ability to combine aesthetics and functionality without compromise. The exterior lines are sleek and modern, with an elegantly proportioned hull that immediately conveys speed and power, while maintaining a strong sense of balance and visual harmony. The large glazed surfaces flood the interior with natural light—remarkable for a sailing yacht of this size—creating a direct connection with the sea and giving guests the constant sensation of living outdoors. The spaces have been designed to be versatile, ensuring maximum livability while preserving privacy. Fine materials, premium finishes, and advanced soundproofing solutions complete this masterpiece.

ICE-Yachts

The Ice Yachts L6 also offers an excellent level of safety, thanks to its protected helm stations. Space on board is remarkably generous, with three cabins and three bathrooms—all featuring separate showers—making it ideal for long cruises with family or friends. The shipyard has even managed to include a tender garage and dedicated crew quarters. All of this has been achieved without sacrificing the exceptional speed that defines every Ice Yachts sailing model, thanks to its lightweight, aerodynamic hull.

In conclusion, the Ice Yachts L6 is a true masterpiece that will – we have no doubts – redefine the very concept of sailing yachts in the coming years, deeply influencing the competition. This first interview offers just a glimpse of what’s to come—many more details will follow in upcoming articles dedicated to this groundbreaking project.

From a technical standpoint, the Ice Yachts L6 is designed to deliver top-level performance: its generous and well-balanced sail plan makes the most of every breath of wind, while the twin-engine setup ensures safety during maneuvers and provides range and reliability when there’s no wind.

ICE Yachts presents the ICE70 Sport, a new sporty take on its iconic 70-footer. Once again designed by Felci Yacht Design, the project blends racing spirit with the comfort of offshore cruising.

ICE Yachts

Bold design and top-quality construction

The ICE70 Sport stands out for the absence of side hull windows, a stylistic choice inspired by the world of ocean racing. This is enhanced by a pearly “Snow White” finish, highlighting the elegance and brilliance of its lines. The removal of the glazing has made it possible to further lighten the structure, improving rigidity and performance.

The deck, covered in 10 mm natural teak, maintains a perfect balance between sportiness and refinement. The deck layout remains faithful to the proven solutions of the original ICE70: clean, essential, and efficient, designed for easy handling even with a reduced crew.

The interiors of the ICE70 Sport: comfort, functionality, and well-defined spaces

ICE 70 sport interiorThe interiors of the ICE70 Sport feature a five-cabin layout:

  • A spacious owner’s cabin amidships, bright and equipped with an en-suite bathroom with tempered glass shower,
  • Two large guest cabins aft, each with a private bathroom and independent access,
  • Two crew cabins forward, with direct access to the galley.

interiorsThe interiors are furnished in natural teak treated with water-based varnish, preserving the warmth and porosity typical of wood. The open galley is enhanced with refined details such as navy-blue glass cabinet doors.

Automation and navigation under Raymarine control

Onboard technology is by Raymarine, with advanced electronic equipment for complete control of the yacht:

  • Multifunction plotters at the helm stations, on the cockpit table, and integrated into the coamings, ensuring constant monitoring during every phase of navigation,
  • In the dinette, a 24-inch touch display allows management of navigation functions as well as home automation control of lights, air conditioning, and systems,
  • In the captain’s cabin, a dedicated plotter provides system and route supervision even away from the helm.

ICE70 Sport: performance and technology

Designed to deliver high performance, the ICE70 Sport adopts advanced construction solutions and materials:

  • Hybrid glass/carbon composite hull, built by infusion with epoxy resin,
  • Full-carbon deck, ensuring maximum rigidity and lightness,
  • Carbon rig (mast and boom), with a generous sail plan and Bamar furling mainsail.

A distinctive feature is the lifting keel, a hydraulically operated mobile keel that allows draft adjustment from 4.47 m (for maximum performance) to a reduced 2.75 m, ideal for accessing shallow-water harbors.

A unique creation, designed to combine top-level racing performance with outstanding offshore cruising comfort. ICE Yachts proudly presents the ICE 70 Sport, a bold and dynamic vision of its iconic 70-footer, once again signed by Felci Yacht Design. Sleek lines, cutting-edge materials, high-end technical solutions, and a completely renewed design give this yacht a strong character and a striking presence that stands out on seas around the world.

The ICE 70 Sport immediately stands out for the absence of side hull windows—a deliberate choice that creates a cleaner visual look and a more aggressive profile, inspired by ocean racing yachts. This is further enhanced by a pearlescent “Snow White” paint job, which adds elegance and brilliance to every line of the hull. The lack of windows also allows for additional weight reduction and structural optimization, increasing the overall sturdiness of the hull and deck.

The deck of the ICE 70 Sport, clad in 10 mm natural teak, strikes the perfect balance between sportiness and class. The deck rigging remains the same of the original ICE 70 model—efficient, streamlined, and designed for smooth handling, even with a small crew.

The smart layout of the ICE 70 Sport

The interior of the ICE 70 Sport features a five-cabin layout, perfectly arranged to ensure privacy, comfort, and practicality both under sail and at anchor. Amidships, there’s a spacious and bright master cabin with a large en-suite bathroom, complete with a tempered glass shower. Aft, two generous guest cabins each have private access to their own bathrooms, while forward, two crew cabins have direct access to the galley—an ideal setup for privacy and smooth operation on board, even during long passages.

The interior design of the ICE 70 Sport is defined by beautiful natural teak finishes treated with a water-based varnish that preserves the material’s natural texture and warmth. In the modern, functional dinette, the open-plan galley stands out, with elegant touches like navy blue lacquered glass cabinet doors that add a refined and contemporary feel.

Performance and technology in service of the sea

The yacht’s structure is optimized for high performance, with a hybrid glass/carbon composite hull built using epoxy resin infusion, and a full-carbon deck for maximum lightness and sturdiness. The rig is also carbon (mast and boom), designed to support a generous sail plan with a Bamar furling mainsail. A key technical feature is the lifting keel— a hydraulically operated swing keel that allows the draft to shift from a deep 4.47 meters, ideal for top-level performance, to a reduced 2.75 meters, perfect for accessing shallow harbors.

In conclusion, with the ICE 70 Sport, ICE Yachts introduces a model designed for those who want to sail with character, efficiency, and comfort—without giving up flawless aesthetics and cutting-edge technology. A yacht for true sailing enthusiasts, able to enjoy every mile, whether racing or cruising, with full control—and unmistakable style—underfoot.

Ice Yachts is gearing up for an exciting autumn, starting with the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. At the French boat show, scheduled from September 9 to 14, the Salvirola-based shipyard will showcase three flagship models that express its vision of high-end sailing through different yet complementary approaches. These are the ICE 64 Explorer, ICE 66 Sport, and ICE 70 RS. The first is designed for long-term onboard living and ocean crossings with complete energy and operational independence; the second is a modern fast cruiser that combines elegant styling with proven performance; the third is built to compete at the highest level in demanding Mediterranean and international racing circuits, without sacrificing cruising comfort.

ICE 64 Explorer: long-range autonomy and comfort

Tailored for owners seeking to embrace a life at sea without boundaries, the ICE64 Explorer is a fully custom yacht conceived for ocean crossings, extended exploration, and long-term autonomy—even far from shore-based infrastructure. Built entirely in lightweight yet robust carbon composite, this Ice Yachts’ vessel ensures superior structural strength, seaworthiness, and efficiency, even in challenging weather conditions.

ice-yachts-cannes-2025

Autonomy is the key feature if the ICE 64 Explorer: advanced energy systems, hybrid propulsion, integrated solar panels, rainwater collection, and optimized onboard systems allow for independent living aboard for weeks or even months. The layout was designed by Ice yachts to maximize comfort and ease of long-term management. Interiors offer ample storage, natural materials, and a bright atmosphere. A dedicated crew cabin with access to the engine room and a functional workbench simplifies onboard maintenance and operations.

However, the deck and cockpit superstructures are the true highlights of the project, featuring an integrated carbon tender crane on structural aft arches, a custom carbon dodger with crystal panels for full protection, a rollbar with integrated mainsheet electric traveler, a full carbon hardtop with rainwater collection system and fully integrated 3 kW solar panels. Thanks to this equipment, the ICE 64 Explorer is the ideal yacht for those who dream of sailing autonomously for weeks, crossing oceans, and living in complete independence in close contact with nature.

ICE 66 Sport: elegance, design and performance

The new ICE66 Sport represents the latest evolution in high-performance sailing from ICE Yachts. Its hull lines and naval architecture are crafted by the esteemed Farr Yacht Design. Generous dimensions and a wide beam provide not only stability and safety at sea but also outstanding interior livability. A shallow draft of just 3.3 meters ensures access to ports and shallow bays without compromising sailing performance.

ice-yachts-interior-66

The ICE66 Sport immediately stands out for its clean lines and revolutionary deckhouse shape. Once aboard, the minimalist two-level deck layout enhances both aesthetics and sailing functionality. The seamless, flowing design of the coachroof contrasts beautifully with the sharp, expansive cockpit—highlighting the refined work on design and the balance between shapes and volumes.

Interior spaces and deck, styled by Micheletti & Partners, express a perfect harmony of functionality, lightweight construction, and onboard comfort. The bright, airy saloon is flooded with natural light through large windows. The open-plan galley with central island features premium finishes—Corian countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, abundant storage, and a wine cellar. Contrasting textures—light leather panels and ribbed walnut—add depth and warmth to the ambiance.

With the ICE66 Sport, ICE Yachts strengthens its position as a benchmark in the world of high-performance sailing, delivering a yacht that blends technology, elegance, and versatility—perfect for both offshore cruising and competitive racing.

ICE 70 RS: speed, control, power

Last but not least, the ICE70 RS is the most advanced model in ICE Yachts’ sport range—a high-performance fast cruiser built for experienced owners aiming to race competitively at the highest international level, while still enjoying elegance and onboard comfort. To ensure maximum performance while maintaining the ability to access shallow marinas, the yacht features a Cariboni lifting keel—a high-precision retractable system that allows the draft to vary from 2.75 m to 4.50 m.

sailboats

The powerful sail plan is paired with a full-carbon rig, optimized mast, Park Avenue boom, and Harken electric winches for efficient handling. The interior layout reflects the yacht’s sporting DNA while offering generous volumes, refined materials, and advanced systems—making it equally suited for long-range cruising. The ICE 70 RS is ready to take on the most competitive regattas in the Mediterranean – and beyond – with the style, power, and precision of a true racing yacht.

See you at Cannes 2025 with Ice Yachts

With these three models set to be showcased at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, ICE Yachts strengthens its position as a key player in the world of offshore sailing and racing, offering custom boats for owners seeking freedom, performance, and sophistication.
