With Ice Yachts, sailing yachts take a leap forward, reaching levels never seen before. The shipyard keeps outdoing itself with every model, but with the new Ice Yachts L6, it has reached the peak of radical and unprecedented innovation. This is a truly revolutionary yacht, designed by Camillo Garroni and unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival: in short, a sailing yacht with the configuration and layout of a motor yacht—the first of its kind—breaking every boundary and taking comfort to a level sailors aren’t used to. Yet, it still manages to maintain the performance and handling that distinguish every model built by the yard.

In the interview featured in the video below, filmed exclusively at the French boat show, Garroni and Marco Malgara, the owner of Ice Yachts, explain in detail what this new yacht will be like, standing next to the first scale model.

The starting idea was very clear: “This new yacht fulfills what has been my dream since I started designing boats—to create a high-performance sailing yacht that could offer all the advantages of a motor yacht” explains Garroni. After all, the designer has been creating yachts for top-level shipyards for 35 years and is very familiar with motor yachts. Thanks to this versatility, Garroni managed to bring the comfort and layout of motor yachts to the Ice Yachts L6, finally realizing his long-held dream. The result is a successful balance that preserves the right proportions and remains faithful to the brand’s identity, known worldwide for building the most solid, fast, and finely crafted sailing yachts.

ICE-Yachts-L6-side-view

Marco Malgara confirms it too: “The idea was to bring the concept of open-air motor yachts closer to sailing, with plenty of outdoor space to spend time on board, combined with good sailing performance”.The result is a highly innovative project with optimized spaces and clever design updates—from the raised dinette area to an exceptionally comfortable and soundproofed night zone, reaching levels never seen before. It’s an inspired idea that’s sure to set a trend: “We’re witnessing an evolution in how sailing yachts are used, and this new Ice Yachts L6 concept is the ultimate expression of that”, says Malgara without hesitation.

rendering

It’s worth taking a closer look at the revolutionary layout of the Ice Yachts L6. The night area is separated from the lower deck and no longer includes the traditional below-deck dinette found on most classic sailing yachts—an area that, in truth, is rarely used. The entire living space has been moved to the upper deck, enhancing comfort for both the owner and guests. The galley is now closer to the beach club and main deck, allowing whoever is cooking to remain part of the social atmosphere while preparing meals, without odors spreading below deck. Of course, the entire area can be enclosed and climate-controlled as needed: it’s essentially a multifunctional space that can be enjoyed both on sunny days and in bad weather.

Another feature that makes the Ice Yachts L6 truly unique is its ability to combine aesthetics and functionality without compromise. The exterior lines are sleek and modern, with an elegantly proportioned hull that immediately conveys speed and power, while maintaining a strong sense of balance and visual harmony. The large glazed surfaces flood the interior with natural light—remarkable for a sailing yacht of this size—creating a direct connection with the sea and giving guests the constant sensation of living outdoors. The spaces have been designed to be versatile, ensuring maximum livability while preserving privacy. Fine materials, premium finishes, and advanced soundproofing solutions complete this masterpiece.

ICE-Yachts

The Ice Yachts L6 also offers an excellent level of safety, thanks to its protected helm stations. Space on board is remarkably generous, with three cabins and three bathrooms—all featuring separate showers—making it ideal for long cruises with family or friends. The shipyard has even managed to include a tender garage and dedicated crew quarters. All of this has been achieved without sacrificing the exceptional speed that defines every Ice Yachts sailing model, thanks to its lightweight, aerodynamic hull.

In conclusion, the Ice Yachts L6 is a true masterpiece that will – we have no doubts – redefine the very concept of sailing yachts in the coming years, deeply influencing the competition. This first interview offers just a glimpse of what’s to come—many more details will follow in upcoming articles dedicated to this groundbreaking project.

From a technical standpoint, the Ice Yachts L6 is designed to deliver top-level performance: its generous and well-balanced sail plan makes the most of every breath of wind, while the twin-engine setup ensures safety during maneuvers and provides range and reliability when there’s no wind.

Cantiere del Pardo never goes unnoticed at international boat shows, and the latest Cannes Yachting Festival, which wrapped up just a few days ago, was no exception. The historic brand, with over 50 years of history, more than 5,000 boats built, and a global network spanning over 60 countries, unveiled three major premieres at the French boat show, further consolidating its role as a benchmark in the international yachting industry. Taking center stage were the world premiere of the new Pardo 43, the debut of the VanDutch 75, and the presentation of the new Grand Soleil Plus 80 Performance.

The new Pardo 43

Under the Pardo Yachts brand, Cantiere del Pardo unveiled the new Pardo 43, a model that redefines the standards of luxury, functionality, and performance. It is the natural evolution of its predecessor, launched in 2017, which enjoyed extraordinary market success. The result of the shipyard’s long-standing expertise, celebrating a spirit of continuity by enhancing every detail without ever betraying its identity, the new Pardo 43 is not just a restyling but a decisive step forward—a fusion of tradition and innovation that preserves its original soul while enriching it with refined details, new functional solutions, and an even sportier look.

cantiere-del-pardo-cannes-2025

The Pardo 43 was born from a clear vision, to create something truly distinctive: a walkaround yacht that could combine performance, elegance, and onboard comfort like never before – says Gigi Servidati, President of Cantiere del Pardo – Its incredible success, with over 300 units sold to date, is a testament to that vision. But for us, success has never meant standing still. This new version is not about revolution, but evolution – continuing to refine and improve a model that has already made history”.

VanDutch 75 and Grand Soleil Plus 80 Performance, Cantiere del Pardo’s other two premieres

Another highlight was the new VanDutch 75, which made its world debut in Cannes. With this model, Cantiere del Pardo opens a new chapter for the historic brand, relaunching its design and aesthetic language with a contemporary twist. The goal is clear: to evolve the unmistakable VanDutch identity into a more sophisticated expression with a Mediterranean flair, without compromising its original style. The result is a yacht that blends vision and consistency, destined to become a benchmark for the future development of the range.

pardo

The project retains the iconic exterior styling that made VanDutch Yachts a global benchmark in the luxury open segment: low-slung profile, clean geometry, and elegantly balanced proportions now enriched with refined technical details that double as integrated design features. A timeless aesthetic, revisited with purposeful upgrades that enhance both function and form.

Finally, there was big news for sailing enthusiasts as well. At the French show, the new Grand Soleil Plus 80 Performance stole the spotlight, following the press presentation of the Long Cruise version at Boot Düsseldorf 2025. The Grand Soleil Plus 80 Performance is the sportier take on the flagship of the Grand Soleil Plus line, with the first unit already sold and currently under construction.

cantiere-del-pardo-grand soleil

Launched in 2022 with the Grand Soleil 72, the Plus line is dedicated to models over 60 feet and designed for owners seeking a fully bespoke approach. Each yacht is built entirely in-house and can be configured with a choice of layouts, materials, and finishes, resulting in a truly personalized project backed by exclusive international support. With 12 units already sold, the Plus line has enjoyed immediate success. Four yachts are currently under construction: two Grand Soleil Plus 80s (one LC and one Performance), a GS Plus 72 Performance, and a GS Plus 65 Long Cruise. The first GS Plus 80 LC will be launched in spring 2026, followed by the GS Plus 80 Performance at the end of the year—further proof that Cantiere del Pardo once again got it right.

The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 has just wrapped up, once again confirming itself as the largest in-water boat show in Europe. From September 9 to 14, the Bay of Cannes hosted a memorable 48th edition that combined record numbers, innovation, and a clear vision for the future of the yachting industry.

Numbers that speak for themselves

With 56,000 visitors, 711 boats on display, 677 exhibitors, and as many as 147 world premieres, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 exceeded all expectations, cementing its role as an unmissable showcase for the international boating industry. Growth compared to 2024, despite a complex economic context, is an encouraging sign for the entire sector.

Two ports, one immersive experience

As tradition dictates, the beating heart of the show was split between the Vieux Port, dominated by motorboats up to 45 meters, and Port Canto, increasingly in the spotlight with its three distinct areas: sailing, the Power Boat Marina dedicated to dayboats up to 13 meters, and the Broker & Toys section reserved for large pre-owned yachts and the latest generation of water toys.

The sailing sector deserves special mention, as this year it set an absolute record: 128 new yachts over 10 meters, the largest fleet of new sailing yachts on display in water anywhere in the world.

Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, innovation and sustainability in the spotlight

The green transformation of yachting took shape along the Innovation Route, a showcase of 42 eco-efficient projects selected from over 120 applications. For the first time, the Innovation Route Awards were presented, honoring boats and solutions that embody the ongoing revolution: from the Modx 70 catamaran to the Vaan R5, as well as alternative propulsion systems and next-generation yachts such as the Benetti B.Yond 37M.

Passing the torch

The 2025 edition was also a symbolic moment: the last one under the direction of Sylvie Ernoult, who proudly handed the helm over to Constance Brément, the show’s new director. This leadership change marks the beginning of a new chapter, with the clear goal of strengthening the event’s international presence.

Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, elegance and lifestyle

Not just boats: as always, Cannes offered a backdrop of exclusive experiences. From refined VIP spaces designed by Roche Bobois, to champagne toasts with Louis Roederer, and the official service by Mercedes ByMyCar, every detail helped create an atmosphere of luxury and hospitality in true Côte d’Azur style.

The German cutting-edge yacht builder SAY Carbon Yachts, renowned for its pioneering use of carbon fiber and its precise, performance-driven design, went all out at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. Not only was its flagship, the SAY 52, on display at the show; the shipyard also took advantage of the prestigious international stage to announce two brand-new models, the SAY 32 and the SAY 42 Sport.

SAY 42 Sport: a new evolution of a SAY Classic

The brand-new SAY 42 Sport is a second iteration of the acclaimed SAY 42, designed to offer even greater versatility, comfort, and everyday usability, while staying true to SAY’s precision performance DNA. Built on the same ultra-lightweight carbon fibre hull and propulsion system as the original model, the SAY 42 Sport introduces several key features that make it suited for buyers seeking both performance and luxury amenities. The yacht will have its official debut at the Boot Düsseldorf in January 2026.

SAY-Carbon-Yachts-42-sport

The SAY 42 Sport takes everything that made the original SAY 42 a success and enhances it for more flexible, modern use – said Carlos Vassallo, Global Head of Sales for SAY Carbon Yachts – With more onboard comfort, a sleek hard top, and a fully equipped galley, it’s a high-performance yacht that combines raw power and agile sport handling with a wide range of premium amenities, delivering the ultimate day cruiser experience”.

The SAY 42 Sport is a true evolution: the same high-performance hull and power options, but now with a more practical and versatile layout – added Karl Wagner, Chief Technology Officer – It’s the perfect blend of what SAY does best: elegant engineering, exhilarating speed, and lightweight construction”.

SAY 32: the most versatile, agile, and accessible yacht in the SAY range

As for the new SAY 32, it will offer extremely precise handling, an athletic design inspired by the automotive world, and the lightness and strength of carbon fiber, all in an accessible format. It is the lightest boat in its length category, weighing only 2.5 tons, and compact enough to be towed by a car. Its launch is scheduled for next spring.

SAY 32

The SAY 32 is our homage to what made SAY special from the beginning: precision, agility, and raw driving fun – said Carlos Vassallo – It’s a natural evolution of the SAY 29, built for today’s performance-focused owners who want a fast, elegant, and versatile yacht. With the 32 and 42 Sport joining our portfolio, SAY can now cater to more of our clients’ needs”.

With the SAY 32, we’ve stayed true to our roots and at the same time we’ve raised the bar – added Karl Wagner – We’ve designed an exhilarating driver’s yacht that embodies our core engineering philosophy and delivers on our promise of the ultimate drive on water”.

The SAY 52 takes the spotlight in Cannes

With its 15.95-meter length and a weight of just 7.5 tons, the SAY 52 is built entirely from carbon fiber and perfectly embodies the signature combination of lightness, bold aesthetics, and engineering precision that defines SAY Carbon Yachts. Powered by twin Volvo Penta V8 or D6 engines (up to 880 horsepower), with an optional hybrid-electric propulsion system for silent, emission-free cruising, the SAY 52 reaches a top speed of 45 knots—a true showcase of power, efficiency, and innovation.

innovative yachting

The SAY 52’s presentation in Cannes marked a turning point for the brand in the French market, one of Europe’s most dynamic hubs for yachting. As SAY Carbon Yachts expands its presence throughout France and the Mediterranean, the Côte d’Azur stands out as a natural stage for the brand’s mix of cutting-edge design, sustainability, and performance. With a rapidly growing client base in the region, SAY’s presence at the show reinforces its commitment to performance-driven, carbon-built innovation, designed for the Mediterranean and beyond.

Market fluctuations don’t stop the Beneteau Group, which showed up in Cannes with 19 new models, including 14 world premieres. The boating giant knows well that the desire to sail never fades, not even in times of uncertainty like these, and that’s why it chose to attend the French show in full force. After all, the company’s plans are ambitious: with 66 models scheduled between now and 2027 (50% more than the previous cycle), Beneteau Group is accelerating and reaffirming its commitment to making boating accessible and sustainable.

As industry insiders know, inflation, interest rates, and U.S. tariffs are putting increasing pressure on operators in the sector. That’s why, like all luxury markets, boating has to face the challenges of price elasticity and the growing need to become more accessible while at the same time improving its value. This awareness is the starting point of Beneteau Group’s plan: “The boating market is not facing a crisis of demand, but a crisis of confidence. The desire to be on the water is still very strong – said CEO Gianguido Girotti – That’s why we need to make accessible what is no longer so, while enriching the experience where it really matters”.

The strength of the Beneteau Group

With nine brands and 6,500 employees operating across three complementary markets, the Beneteau Group has the expertise and financial strength to innovate and adapt. The Group boasts €250 million in net cash, a network of 1,200 distributors, and a solid balance sheet. “Being a family-owned company for over 140 years, with a long-term strategy, is a true strength”, emphasizes Bruno Thivoyon, Chairman of the Management Board.

Our mission is clear: to focus on what we call the right proposition for every customer, i.e. Meaningful Boating. It means designing and innovating for the right willingness to pay. It means making boating accessible to as many people as possible, without compromising on quality”, adds Gianguido Girotti – But the right proposition for each client is not limited to price: it is also about creating real value for our customers, designing experiences that matter, and integrating sustainability at the heart of everything we do”.

Beneteau Cannes yachting festival

The 19 premieres unveiled at Cannes 2025

This new chapter for the Beneteau Group takes shape in 19 new models, including 14 world premieres unveiled in Cannes. Boats that cover all segments of the multi-specialist group, from entry-level models to the most expensive and luxurious yachts.

The Beneteau Group’s key word is price accessibility, but without compromising on quality or innovation. That’s why five new models (Sun Odyssey 415, Oceanis 47, Oceanis 52, Lagoon 38 and Trawler 37) are offered at a discount of 10% to 15% compared to their predecessors, making boating more accessible while maintaining high standards of design and performance. These boats have been designed to be easier to own, charter, and handle, thanks to modular layouts and ergonomic features that simplify life on board.

beneteau

Also worth noting in the motorboat segment is the launch of the new Four Winns TH33 and TH38, which are driving a significant evolution in the entry-level and mid-range segments. As for the top of the line in motor yachts, the Beneteau Group has focused on refined design, sustainable materials, and extensive customization options. The most luxurious segment is represented in Cannes by the Beneteau Gran Turismo/Alpine series, the GT Trawler 63, Lagoon 82, and the Prestige M7. The latter is the group’s flagship yacht, embodying space, elegance, and the sophistication of high-end motorboating.

beneteau-cannes-it

There are also major new developments in sailing yachts, where the Beneteau Group is the world leader, offering a complete range to meet every expectation: from the Beneteau First 30, accessible starting at €100,000 and designed for both racing and sporty cruising, to the new First 60, a 60-footer that combines performance with elegance. Also winning over visitors at the French show was the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415, which stands out for its accessibility in both use and price, along with the new Beneteau Oceanis 47 and 52, which blend cruising comfort with cutting-edge innovations.

motorboats

Finally, in the multihull segment, the Lagoon 38 represents an affordable entry point into modern catamarans, especially for charter. At the other end of the range is the Lagoon Eighty2, the largest catamaran in the Beneteau Group, designed with a strong focus on high-level customization. Another newcomer is the Excess 13, which adds even more excitement to the sailing experience.

Jeanneau Sealoft 480, the floating loft from the Beneteau Group

One of the main new entries unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival deserves a chapter of its own: the Sealoft 480, which launches a brand-new range for the Jeanneau brand of the Beneteau Group. Designed as a floating loft, this boat redefines the boating experience. Based on real navigation data and tested by 120 boaters across Europe and North America, every detail of the Sealoft 480 has been conceived to improve life on board: modular living spaces that promote circulation, simplified maneuvers, and a 30 to 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to conventional boats.

Jeanneau Sealoft 480

“This is not just a boat. It’s a new category — a floating loft, a fluid space, a complete ecosystem of autonomy and simplicity”, Gianguido Girotti concludes by describing the company’s new creation, which offers a fresh way to experience the sea: accessible, intuitive, and responsible.

Invictus Yacht is set to take center stage this September with the launch of its new flagship, the Invictus TT550. After making its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, currently underway, the Invictus TT550 will have its official Italian premiere at the Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled from September 18 to 23. Alongside it, Invictus Yacht will showcase its main models in Genoa: the TT460 in a new version, the TT420, the GT320, and the GT280. The shipyard’s exhibition space will be located at Banchina B, stand A20.

The Invictus TT550 in detail

Designed by Christian Grande, the Invictus TT550 is Cantieri Aschenez’s most ambitious project to date, redefining the Mediterranean day-cruising concept in a contemporary way. At 16.87 meters in length, the yacht represents the natural evolution of the TT line, known for its sporty yet elegant style.

invictus-tt550-high-speed

The fully open layout, enhanced by fold-down side terraces, offers generous and fluid spaces designed to enjoy the sea in complete freedom. The wide, functional exteriors create a direct connection with the surroundings, while the carbon hardtop and Atelier Invictus finishes highlight the brand’s bespoke, highly customizable approach.

At the Genoa Boat Show, the Invictus TT550 will be unveiled in the new “Stone White” color, paired with “Cloudy Cognac” upholstery. The fabrics, the result of research drawing inspiration from industries beyond yachting, combine elegance, comfort, and durability. Thanks to Atelier Invictus, each owner will be able to customize their yacht down to the smallest detail — from materials and colors to exclusive accessories — making every model truly unique.

Performance is also outstanding. The inboard Volvo Penta IPS engines, up to the IPS950 version, deliver speed, agility, and comfort at sea. “The Invictus TT550 is the embodiment of a free, sophisticated, and deeply Mediterranean style of navigation. A yacht that makes an impression at first glance but wins you over in the details”, says Valentina Procopio, marketing manager at Invictus Yacht.

invictus-tt550-top-view

The new TT460 “Shell Edition”

Alongside the new flagship Invictus TT550, the shipyard will unveil in Genoa its new aesthetic and design direction through one of its iconic models, the TT460, a best seller reinterpreted with completely renewed interiors. The project was developed within the Invictus Atelier, the brand’s creative and research hub, dedicated to exploring trends, using sustainable materials and natural finishes, developing new accessories, and studying lighting, with the goal of achieving total quality in the brand’s future projects. At the heart of this new course is internationally renowned architect Fabio Rotella, whose signature defines the new layout of the TT460 “Shell Edition”.

This model introduces innovative technical and aesthetic solutions, including the first-ever use in the nautical sector of structural honeycomb panels, lightweight and recyclable, replacing traditional wood in the below-deck walls. These new materials allow for a significant reduction in the boat’s weight, optimizing performance and lowering consumption. At a time when luxury often overlaps with excess, the TT460 “Shell Edition” conveys a deeper idea: experiencing the sea in harmony and awareness, by listening to what surrounds us.

Yacht design tends more and more to replicate domestic living styles, losing sight of the true essence of the sea, while I choose another course – comments Fabio Rotella – I don’t see the boat as a floating house, but as a living organism that breathes with the water, that dialogues with the wind, that lets itself be crossed by light”.

The restyling of the TT460 is completed with eco-friendly coverings and new living concepts designed to enhance comfort and atmosphere. This path was made possible through collaboration with technical partners such as Rimani for lighting, Zaac for innovative materials, Gessi and Artelinea for the bathrooms, La Boutique for fabrics, and Liuni for flooring.

Capoforte is also taking center stage in Genoa

For Cantieri Aschenez, the Genoa International Boat Show is a privileged opportunity not only to showcase the new flagship Invictus TT550. Alongside this new model and the rest of the Invictus Yacht range, the shipyard will also exhibit the boats of Capoforte, the brand dedicated to more compact and versatile models that share the same construction philosophy and technical standards of excellence of the group. Specifically, the models CX280i, CX240 Summer Edition, SQ240, and SX200 will be on display at Pavilion B, stand D5, while the FX270 will be showcased at the Suzuki Mare stand and the CX270 at the Honda Marine stand.

Three models that each interpret in their own way the essence of the Italian shipyard: full-carbon construction, technological research, and a tailor-made design approach capable of meeting the most refined demands of yacht owners.

ICE64 Explorer – the freedom to go beyond the horizon with ICE Yachts

With the ICE64 Explorer, ICE Yachts has set a new standard for long-range cruising. Designed for those who dream of living the sea without geographical or time limits, this fully custom carbon-composite yacht is a synthesis of sturdiness, lightness, and maneuverability. The true power of this model lies in its total autonomy: hybrid propulsion systems, seamlessly integrated solar panels, rainwater collection, and advanced onboard systems make it possible to face ocean crossings and extended stays without relying on shore-based infrastructure.

Bright and functional, the interiors are designed for extended life on board, with generous storage volumes and natural materials carefully selected for long-lasting durability. An independent crew cabin, with direct access to the engine room and a dedicated workbench, ensures easy management of maintenance and operations even on the open sea. In short, the ICE64 Explorer is a laboratory of autonomy and comfort for those who don’t want to set limits on their desire for exploration.

The true flagship features of this ICE Yachts model are undoubtedly the deck and cockpit superstructures, though many other premium technical elements stand out:

  • Integrated carbon tender crane on the structural aft arches
  • Custom carbon dodger with crystal panels for full protection
  • Rollbar with integrated mainsheet traveler
  • Full-carbon hardtop with rainwater collection system and fully integrated 3 kW solar panels
  • 48V electrical system

ICE70 RS: racing power, cruising elegance

If the ICE64 Explorer is a call to adventure, the ICE70 RS is pure sporting seduction. It represents the most advanced model in ICE Yachts’ performance range: an elite fast cruiser, designed for experienced owners who aim to stand out on international racing circuits without compromising on style and elegance. The yacht integrates cutting-edge technical solutions, including the sophisticated Cariboni lifting keel system—a precision retractable keel that allows draft modulation from 2.75 to 4.50 meters, combining top-level performance with easy access even to shallow marinas.

ICE66 RS – the most futuristic design from ICE Yachts

Finally, at the 2025 edition of the French boat show, ICE Yachts unveiled the ICE66 RS, the first model of a new series born from collaboration with some of the biggest names in yachting: Farr Yacht Design for the hull and naval architecture, and Micheletti + Partners for the interior and exterior styling. This is a yacht that is light, fast, competitive, and at the same time comfortable—aimed at owners who value the solidity and performance of ICE Yachts but seek a more futuristic design.

sailboats

The waterlines were drawn with the goal of elevating the speed and seaworthiness qualities that ICE Yachts’ clients are accustomed to, taking them to a new level. The hull, derived from racing boats, features a slightly reverse bow, as seen on the OR65, a hallmark of the shipyard. The maximum beam shifted aft, the powerful hull, and the significant righting moment enable this yacht to aspire to compete with pure racers. With a draft of 3.35 meters, it strikes the best compromise between performance and access to the main Mediterranean ports.

The technical features of this ICE Yachts jewel are particularly remarkable. The keel blade, built with a double Weldox structure, and the CNC-milled lead bulb ensure the strength and robustness needed to withstand the loads generated by the expansive sail plan. Meanwhile, the carbon rudder, with a shaft forged in an autoclave at 7 bar, is designed with cutting-edge technologies to deliver impressive control even when the yacht is heeled or subjected to heavy aerodynamic loads.

Cantieri Magazzù will take center stage at the two major international autumn boat shows, unveiling its latest models at the Cannes Yachting Festival (September 9–14, 2025) and at the Genoa International Boat Show (September 18–23, 2025). With this double participation, Cantieri Magazzù confirms its role as a key player in the yachting scene, ready to showcase its vision blending elegance, performance, and innovation. The strategic choice of models on display will give owners and enthusiasts the chance to experience firsthand the uncompromising power and sophisticated elegance of the renowned Sicilian shipyard.

At Europe’s largest and prestigious in-water boat show, held in the scenic harbors of Vieux Port and Port Canto in Cannes, Cantieri Magazzù will showcase two distinct models:

  • MX-16 outboard version, powered by three Mercury engines, combining power, agility, and outstanding performance;
  • MX-13 sterndrive version, fitted with twin 400 hp V6 engines, offering the perfect balance between performance and comfort.

mx-13Just a week later, Cantieri Magazzù will head to the Genoa International Boat Show, once again held at the Waterfront di Levante of Fiera di Genova, the area designed by Renzo Piano that has become a global reference point for the boating world. Here, the same MX-13 shown in Cannes will be on display alongside the MX-11 Coupé in its outboard version. For the latter, this marks its very first appearance at an international event, even though it is already a well-known model in the industry. In fact, the MX-11 Coupé is one of Magazzù’s best sellers, with over 150 units built. This configuration – with twin 300 hp Mercury Verado engines – represents an exclusive debut at a boat show, while the sterndrive versions have already been featured at numerous events.

This setup further enhances the sporty spirit of Cantieri Magazzù’s model without compromising its refined character. The coupé design, with its sharp and elegant lines, integrates innovative solutions to maximize livability and functionality. Its reputation as a best seller is reaffirmed with this world premiere that blends tradition and innovation.

Equally noteworthy are the MX-13, featured both in Cannes and Genoa in its sterndrive version, and the MX-16, showcased exclusively in Cannes. The MX-16 is the sporty flagship of the range, a maxi rib that combines generous spaces, sophisticated design, and top-class performance. The outboard version reaches very high top speeds while maintaining comfort and stability even in rough seas. The interiors, fully customizable, offer an owner’s cabin and a refined living area, designed both for fast cruising and for extended life on board.

mx-11

Last but not least, the MX-13 is among the shipyard’s most versatile models. At over 13 meters in length, it combines sleek, modern lines with generous spaces for both guests and owners. The deck layout is designed for socializing and relaxation, while the hulls, the result of decades of Magazzù research, guarantee safe and sporty navigation. It is a model that perfectly embodies the brand’s philosophy: elegance without sacrificing power.

The prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, scheduled from September 9 to 14, is once again ready to showcase the very best of the international boating scene. Among the most anticipated exhibitors is Cantiere del Pardo, a true icon of Italian excellence, renowned for combining innovation, performance, and timeless design. The shipyard confirms this spirit by bringing to the French show two world premieres from its Pardo Yachts and VanDutch brands, along with the national debut of a new Grand Soleil.

With a legacy spanning over fifty years, Cantiere del Pardo will arrive in Cannes with a broad and diverse offering that embraces both motor and sailing yachts. Its presence reaffirms its role as a leading player in the global boating scene, thanks to models that meet owners’ expectations while anticipating market trends with cutting-edge technological and design solutions.

Cantiere del Pardo world premieres

Among the highlights of the French boat show is the world premiere of the new Pardo 43, the evolution of the model that marked the beginning of Pardo Yachts’ story and over the years has become an icon of the brand.

The new 43-footer stands out with refreshed lines, improved hydrodynamic efficiency, and design solutions aimed at enhancing comfort and livability on board. The other world premiere is the VanDutch 75, the new flagship of the VanDutch range. With bold lines, a sleek profile, and generous deck spaces, the yacht represents a contemporary evolution of the brand’s identity. The new interiors, designed by BurdissoCapponi Yachts&Design, combine fine materials with understated, relaxed elegance, making this 75-footer a benchmark for the new era of VanDutch.

A complete range for every need

Alongside the new Pardo 43, Cantiere del Pardo will showcase other highlights from the Pardo Yachts collection: the versatile Pardo 50, the refined GT52 and GT75, and the revolutionary Endurance 72, making its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival. This latest model represents a new frontier for long-range cruising, offering generous spaces, energy efficiency, and a design approach focused on the future of sustainable yachting.

The VanDutch lineup will also feature the VanDutch 40 and VanDutch 48.

The Grand Soleil Plus 65 Performance makes its Cannes debut

Sailing enthusiasts will also have plenty to look forward to. At Cannes 2025, the Grand Soleil Plus 65 Performance will be presented for the first time: the smallest model of the Plus line, officially unveiled last May in Palma, which has already drawn strong interest in the sailing world.

cantiere-del-pardo-cannes

Thanks to advanced construction techniques, a performance-oriented hull, and spacious, contemporary interiors, the Grand Soleil Plus 65 Performance combines excellent sailing performance with the comfort and livability that have always distinguished Grand Soleil Yachts. Cantiere del Pardo’s international vocation

With this participation, Cantiere del Pardo reaffirms its international vocation and its ability to constantly reinvent itself, offering yachts that embody the essence of contemporary luxury: top-level performance, absolute comfort, and the unmistakable elegance of Italian design. The 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival is set to be a remarkable stage for the shipyard, once again ready to write a new chapter in its history.
