]]>Pirelli 42 special edition by Mansory: the high-tech maxi-rib will be presented at the Dubai International Boat Show on 28 February.
Sacs TecnoRib, based at Roncello in the Brianza region of Italy, is continuing its mission of transforming inflatable boats into prestigious products hallmarked by quality and safety, performance and style. No longer just megayacht tenders and runaround dayboats, but high-tech craft of exceptional speed and handling that are equally eye-catching and enjoyable when at anchor.
Sacs TecnoRib, with annual turnover in excess of 45 million euro and one of the major players on Italy’s sports marine scene, has developed a new concept of rigid inflatables, building on the expertise of the two existing companies Sacs and Tecnorib. The Pirelli 42 Mansory special-edition maxi-rib is the result of an intriguing collaboration, between Sacs Tecnorib and the German marque Mansory, founded in 1989 by Iranian tuner Kourosh Mansory, working in Brand, Germany, and famous for the customisation of high-end supercars.
This boat is a spectacular demonstration of the success of the maxi-rib formula, with superb high-tech looks and a plethora of engaging details that go far beyond the Mansory trademark starry-sky roof created using hundreds of LED bulbs.
The new maxi rib’s official debut will be at the Dubai International Boat Show from 28 February to 3 March, with a 1:12 scale model and a video of in-water tests. Powered by three 500 hp Mercury engines, it marks the official start of Sacs Tecnorib’s partnership with Mansory. The preview photos reveal the remarkable transformation of the Pirelli 42, with a dominant visual theme offered by carbon, a highlight of Mansory’s habitual work on luxury vehicles. In fact, carbon fibre is a constant presence throughout the new tecnorib, appearing in the cockpit with its throttles and joystick, the spoiler on the hard top, the row of integrated Hella spotlights, the air vents and many other details.
The Pirelli 42 was already a game-changer when it was presented in 2021, with a top speed exceeding 60 knots. With its aggressive looks crafted by Ted Mannerfelt of the eponymous Swedish design studio, its objective was to deliver an impression of velocity even when at anchor. Pirelli coined the name “Walkaround” for its range of high-tech inflatables, a reference to the ample space available and the continuous walkways running from the bow loungers right back to the stern, offering exceptional comfort and safety.
Mansory, famous for their radical bodywork modifications and performance upgrades for even the fastest production cars, have totally transformed the Pirelli 42 tecnorib, starting from the Mercury engines which have custom graphics to make them an integrated part of the design. In their colour scheme, the power plants reference the unmistakable character of the Pirelli 42’s looks, expressing generous performance. The tough, streamlined looks are underlined by details such as the start/stop button cover reminiscent of aircraft control panels, the steering wheel, accelerator and joysticks highlighting carbon fibre, and custom upholstery in waterproof leather. Overall, the Pirelli 42 Special Edition is a remarkable combination, a partnership expressed by the Mansory logos appearing on the side of the boat as well as at the centre of the wheel, the backrest cushions and other details.
The special-edition Pirelli 42 Mansory tecnorib offers looks that match the performance of the 2021 original, with its amazing acceleration and mechanics, merit of the superbly-engineered keel that gives the craft consistent stability from when it gets on plane at about 12 knots, all the way through to its top speed of over 60 knots. We were already impressed with the Pirelli 42 when we tested it back in 2022 (with triple Mercury Racing 450 outboards), and we loved its superb efficacy even when cutting through waves at high speed.
From the photos, we can see that the interiors of the Pirelli 42 Mansory are as sleek and enticing as the exteriors, with an open-space cabin featuring customisable cushioning, sink, WC and shower. Of course, owners can customise their tecnorib, modifying the cushions in colour and stitching design. “Mansory are masterful in their ability to interpret customer requests and transform them into unique, prestigious customisations,” said Gianni De Bonis, CEO of Sacs Tecnorib, but considering the remarkable resources of engineering and design offered by the several companies that in the recent past have contributed to this extraordinary story of success, we are sure that most customers will be happy with the Pirelli 42 Mansory special edition as it is proposed by the manufacturer. ]]>It is difficult to think of a stylish shower without instantly being reminded of one of the products that Inoxstyle, ambassador of the best Made in Italy in the world, produces with a level of craftsmanship that is more akin to an art form than a luxury item.

We spoke about this with engineer Leonardo Pampaloni, Managing Director at Inoxstyle:
“We divide our market into two large areas: yachting and swimming pools, with 65-70% of our activity being dedicated to the first and 30-35% to the second. This is the first time we have joined the Dubai Boat Show, which confirms to be a wonderful opportunity to expand our network of contacts and get ourselves noticed as much as possible, by dealers who already know us but also by those who are approaching a Made in Italy product for the first time.”
Some of the 
items showcased in Dubai are the flagship products of Inoxstyle, such as the Doride shower, new to the Arab Emirates but presented at METS Amsterdam last autumn:
“It is a full 316L stainless steel shower that is designed specifically for large boats and swimming pools,” reports engineer Leonardo Pampaloni. “Together with older but popular models such as Dream Carbon and Dream Yacht, Doride has become one of the most sought-after style accessories available in two special paint finishes: Mirror-Like Steel, the classic and most popular mirror finish, or Velvet Steel, a special new finish obtained by shot peening with glass microspheres that give it that special ‘velvety’ surface.”
Another innovative solution from Inoxstyle, much appreciated on board yachts, is the support cockpit that supports the shower and makes it possible to hide the water connections under the boat deck, avoiding unsightly pipes being visible.
“Our cockpit, compared to other solutions with quick couplings, which wear out after some use, is maintenance-free and easy to assemble; the shower rotates 360 degrees and has no moving parts. Not only beauty, not only design, but also engineering,” says engineer Leonardo Pampaloni.

]]>A forum aimed at elevating human potential and creating new boating perceptions, embracing an holistic style for healthier yachting.
The second edition of the sold-out Experiential Yachting Forum 2023 was held on March 2- 3 in Dubai during the international boat show.
More than 130 participants,including speakers, partners, and visionaries gathered to discuss inspiring topics, looking at yachting from a different perspective: one that sees the multifunctional yacht as the solution of the future, integrating different sectors (healthcare, fashion, real estate, etc…) to the boating one, to have a healthier and more sustainable human experience of being on a boat.
How is this achieved?
Experiential Yachting 2023 has introduced a new concept: multifunctional Superyachts, i.e., luxury yachts that are true extensions of businesses or institutions. The goal of this new view is to create innovative connections and bring a new type of service to the public. This is also a new way to strengthen established brands by offering a wide range of features and multi-purpose facilities and in this way breaking the industry patterns used to date.
During the Forum, the new concept of Holistic Yachting was also presented, which is an approach that combines elements of longevity, preventive health care, eco-responsible technologies, innovation, and social interactions to boat living. To make this new vision of yachting come to fruition, a collaboration was presented between Experiential Yachting and AERA.HealthExperiential Yachting and AERA.Health, which together, aim to provide the industry with essential solutions, where the available projects and packages will serve to concretely upgrade or transform the yacht with appropriate equipment and services for a healthier lifestyle on board..
“In a world that demands fresh thinking and new solutions, recreational boating can play an important role for our humanity. Therefore, we need to rethink and implement new business models and a new yachting philosophy,”. says Maria Alekseenko Magan, founder of Experiential Yachting.“Whether you are interested in longevity and preventive healthcare, remote education for your children, or simply want to engage your target through commercial operations at sea, using a yacht goes far beyond the usual vacation, relaxation or exploration. Today, together with visionaries from different sectors, Experiential Yachting redefines yachting by changing the function of the yacht. The common goal,” she concludes, “is nothing less than to elevate human potential and open a new chapter and a new world at sea.”
Another moment that particularly impressed spectators at Experiential Yachting 2023 was the presentation of the results of the neuroscientific experiment of “Meditation on a Jet Ski.” The experiment, carried out last year, involves Maria Alekseenko Magan’s Experiential Yachting in collaboration with Claudia Batt’s Monaco Capital of Advanced Yachting, and found how the rolling of sea waves affects brainwaves during meditation aboard a small jet ski at sea compared to the same meditation technique performed on land.
With 23 volunteers and 3 pilot participants, Julian Amengual Researcher in Neuroscience and Data Scientist and Patrick Cosson, Researcher in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience analyzed the data one year after the start of the experiment. “In conclusion – Julian Amengual explains – there was clear evidence of the higher behavioral benefits and enhancement of physiological correlates of well-being after performing meditation at the sea compared to meditation performed on land. “We truly believe that these results open a novel venue to conceive holistic experiences in yachting from which users could highly benefit” .

]]>Technology, innovation and quality: these are the key elements of the WUWLED underwater spotlights that conquered the recent Dubai boat show.
Ampermarine, a leader in electronics and lighting systems, impressed all enthusiasts and boat owners at DIBS, the Dubai International Boat Show, held from 1 to 5 March.
Undergoing great growth 
and expansion, the company is widening its market basin. Having started in Italy, it is now increasingly looking abroad. France, enthusiastic about this innovative underwater light technology, started sales at the beginning of 2023, then the company conquered Germany during the Düsseldorf show, and now, it is the turn of the United Arab Emirates.
“The spotlight line is enjoying great success at the Dubai trade fair, our WUWLED underwater spotlight is very successful, because these spotlights were not known, we are exhibiting here to make ourselves known in the UAE as well. The special feature of our spotlights is a transmitter inserted inside, and a spotlight inserted outside, via a 12 or 24 W power supply, that transfers the power to the spotlight, which illuminates with both white and blue light, and there is no need to drill a hole in the boat,” explains Elio Tamanti.
The versatility of these innovative underwater spotlights is one of the strengths of this product because it adapts to the customer’s needs, becoming an accessory for more than just boating use, as Elio Tamanti, Sales Manager at Ampermarine, also reports:
“The spotlights can also be used on docks for example. In this case the spotlight is offered without a transmitter but going out directly with the cable, which is fed in to provide excellent brightness of up to 12,000 lumens. However, WUWLED is also suitable for swimming pools, as it can be installed without drilling holes in the wall. In fact, our products can even pass through reinforced concrete, so operation is guaranteed, without water seepage or leaks.”
For Ampermarine, the Dubai boat show was a further springboard for the most innovative underwater spotlight in recent times, born from the high quality of the materials and the great search for an easier solution for night lighting that would no longer force shipyards and owners to have to drill holes in their hulls.
“We are aiming at re-fitting, because many boats do not have underwater spotlights as many owners are against drilling holes in the boat because they do not want to create water seepage and demolish the structure. It is very important that we try to expand worldwide, we already have a good number of distributors around the world, we also want to increase in the UAE and we are very happy with the success we received at DIBS.”
