Spring has sprung, and Easter is upon us! That means it's time to start thinking about spring break in Prague. Don't know what to do here, which event to attend or how to blend with locals and have a great experience? Check out this list of great events and give a warm welcome to spring!

What to do on Easter in Prague? Definitely worth visiting are Easter markets, which are held on various places till April 23. Looking for something traditional related to Easter? St. Matthew's Fair (Matějská pouť)
25 February – 17 April 2017, Prague Exhibition Grounds (Prague 7)
Visit the most famous and most visited fair in the Czech Republic – Matějská (St. Matthew's Fair), held annually in the spring months and taste the cotton candy or have a stab at a roller coaster, ferris wheel or popular bumper cars.

Witches' Night (Pálení Čarodějnic, Burning of Witches)

While it may not sound like it, the Witches' Night (the counterpoint to Halloween) is pretty much fun. The highlight of the celebration is usually the burning of an effigy of the Winter Witch, who has brought cold and fallowness.
