March marks the official start of spring, which means the days become longer than the nights. And that's a good reason to wander around the city day or night, right? Whether you're looking for food festivals or a party, there are plenty of springtime happenings to find in our March events calendar.

Prague events for fashion lovers
MINT: Weekend Market
every Saturday, Holešovice Market (Prague 7)
Skip the mall and go shopping to Holešovice Market (Hall Nr. 13 – to be more accurate), you'll discover pretty new design market that sells independent fashion, jewelry and unique accessories to all – locals or travelers! Open every Saturday, all day usually from 9am until 6pm. Psssst, if you want, here's a quick look how does it look like inside!

Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week

Don't miss the opportunity to visit the largest fashion event in the whole country. MBPFW introduces the work of meticulously selected designers and offers a fair amount of events.

Pork Feast Festival

Food Truck Show
18 March 2017, Prague Exhibition Grounds (Prague 7)
The biggest food truck rally in the Czech Republic comes back to Prague! You'll be able not only to taste various food trucks specialties, but also appreciate the creativity with which these trucks are built. In addition to classic food trucks from Hungary, Belgium, Slovakia, Italy and Poland, there will be displayed also refreshment tricycle, rickshaws, trailers, giant barbecues and field kitchens.

Soup Festival
25 March 2017, Smíchovská náplavka (Prague 5)
This festival offers a cross-selection of worldwide soups. You will be able to taste Spanish, Armenian, Hungarian, French, Italian, Moroccan, Peruvian, Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, Austria, Japan and other nation's soups. And of course, Czech soups will not to be missed as well. Admission fee 50 CZK per person.

Probably the most recognized name in 80's music returns to Prague again! The One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is currently the largest human rights film festival in the world. More than 100,000 viewers attend it every year. All movies are shown either in English or with English subtitles.

International Film Festival Prague – FEBIOFEST
23 – 31 March 2017, Cinestar Cinema Anděl (Prague 5)
The International Film Festival brings to Czech audiences the best films of the last year and discovers new territories and unknown filmmakers, with special sections dedicated to gay and lesbian cinema, children's films and even experimental films.
