March Events in Prague 2016
March marks the official start of spring, which means the days become longer than the nights. And that's a good reason to wander around the city day or night, right? Whether you're looking for festivals or a party, there are plenty of springtime happenings to find in our March events calendar.

Events for film buffs
Future Gate Festival
3 – 6 March 2016, BIO OKO Cinema
Time-honored legends, special versions of cult films, carefully selected news as well as the films awarded at the international festivals. The third annual festival of sci-fi movies FUTURE GATE traditionally brings to the screen a number of interesting shots. This year's festival theme is the heroism and all its forms.

ONE WORLD – International human rights documentary film festival 
7 – 16 March 2016, various venues
The One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is currently the largest human rights film festival in the world. More than 100,000 viewers attend it every year. All movies are shown either in English or with English subtitles.

The Shockproof Film Festival 
8 – 13 March 2016, Aero Cinema
The Shockproof Film Festival goes beyond the usual film-watching experience and offers a unique opportunity to share the imagination of film makers whose vision of the world and the film art is „different".

International Film Festival Prague – FEBIOFEST 
17 – 25 March 2016, various venues
This International Film Festival brings to Czech audiences the best films of the last year and discovers new territories and unknown filmmakers, with special sections dedicated to gay and lesbian cinema, children's films and even experimental films.

Bohemia Design Market Prague #1 
12 – 13 March 2016, Royal Theater
The first international sale exhibition of independent design presents talented artists and designers from Austria, Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic together with Czech non-profit organizations.

Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Weekend 
16 – 23 March 2016, various venues
Don't miss the opportunity to visit the largest fashion event in the whole country. MBPFW introduces the work of meticulously selected designers and offers a fair amount of events.

Dyzajn Market Spring

Food Truck Show Prague

The hottest trend to hit the food industry is the new wave of gasoline-fueled gastronomy that's put a twist on some old favorites. 1st International Food Truck Show in Prague explores some of the most scrumptious street eats available on wheels.

St. Patrick's Night

Celebrate this Irish traditional holiday in Roxy. Dress green for the St. Patrick's celebration and win prizes for the best green costumes!

Žižkov Night 
17 – 19 March 2016, various venues
The most interesting venues in Žižkov and surrounding quarters unite for three days and three nights into a unique festival world! The 6th season takes place in over 60 different spots ranging from clubs, theatres, cafés and pubs to galleries. You can look forward to over 300 artists of all genres from all over the world scheduled to perform! And as always for a minimal entry!
